I'm amused yet disturbed by it.

Of course, there are the implications that kinky locs are 'bad hair' and his straight hair is 'good' hair - but then, he did ask for his money back.

I dunno. :) On a whole, not deeply analyzing it - it amuses me.
 
Oh my...I'm not quite sure how I feel about it.

Given that most people think straight hair is better, even us, I guess I can't really say the commercial is offensive.

The guy is funny. :lachen:

In all seriousness, though, I get tired of the "Straighter is better" mantra...but this...this is subtle enough where I can just laugh at it and move on. :look:
 
I agree!! It is funny!!! I think that its not serious enough and he does reject having the fabulous straight hair and loving his locks and quite ashamed of his hair.
 
IDK but I thought it was hilarious. I've never seen it on TV though :lachen: They know they would've been the topic on AOL news for a min!

I just showed it to my friend (he's Australian) and the commercial is big down there. LOL
Guy's hair is gorgeous, though. :p
