How is it that newgrowth starts taking over your entire head?

Isn't it funny how an inch or so of new growth affects your entire head? My hair has been acting real ignant for the last week or so since this new growth has crept in. It's amazing how strong our hair is, how prominent, that one little inch can throw all the straightness out of wack.

Just something i've been thinking about today :look: I think I'm about 6 weeks post today :yay:

Yea...imagine how bad it is with about 4 inches or more. MADNESS!!! That's exactly why I BC'd I just gave in. Natural hair is no joke, it WILL take over your head!!!

yup, and when i get that inch, the difficulty of transitioning shall begin. i dont even wanna think about gettin 3":wallbash: lawd!

I have some new growth right now :wallbash: , I'm debating rather I should stretch it on out a couple more weeks, but my brithday is Oct, 30 and I was planing on getting some yaki straight extensions in my hair Cliped in, but it aint gone look right with this new growth. :nono: I don't know what to do,lol.

Mines is driving me crazy!!!:wallbash::wallbash: im almost 14 weeks post with about 1 1/2" - 1 3/4" of new growth:perplexed and im tryng to make it to 16 weeks. Ive been reduced to wet buns under a wig... but the good thing is, im learning some much needed hair discipline towards protective styling:yep:

Yes, the NG ain't no joke. I was planning on getting a relaxer two weeks from now, but earlier this week I looked in the mirror and was like, "Nope - can't wait . . . my whole head is being overtaken!"

Uuuum, Bre, whatchu mean you're 6 weeks post??????? When the hell did this happen??????????!!!!!!!!!!!

this is 4 inches of NG

shrunken ponytail

straight

my NG had ENGULFED my length completely. i could barley put it into a ponytail with it shrunken.

I'm 7 weeks post trying to make a 15 week stretch. If it weren't for the fact my stylist has a new number, that number is programed into my mom's cell, and my mom was gone until 4:30 today, I would have made an appointment for next Saturday for a touch-up.

I washed my hair today and when I rollerset it--Lord Have Mercy!

Yes, I am 6 wks post right now and I feel as if I have a mini cotton field underneath:spinning: I don't really feel like relaxing yet despite having alot of newgrowth though because I am trying to see if i can make it to 8 wks...umm yeah, I hope I can make it without any breakage this time:look:

I'm about 20 weeks post...

For the most part my hair is tame, but DANG... after washing it's a mother to detangle these days.

I had to start putting oil in my shampoo and detangling in tiny little sections

Yes I am six weeks post and the longer i stretch the dryer my hair gets. last weekall my hair was dry and coarse. Its like once I get some ng the rest of my hair doesnt know how to act.

I definitely understand. I have about an inch and a half of new growth, and I had to put extensions in. I have a new length of hair and style that I have never had before, and new growth and this style does not go together. It just doesnt lay right!!
