Is it ok to relax hair that was flatironed over a week ago?

I'm going to a do a touch up today and was wondering if it was okay to relax hair that has been flatironed??? Normally when I relax my hair I do it a few days after washing and airdrying. This time I decided to do it after flatironing my hair over a week ago because I thought it would be easier/quicker to work the relaxer with 12 weeks of new growth.

I belive that over a week is enough time to wait in between. As long as you're able to distinguish between the new growth and previously relaxed hair you should be fine.

Yeah I should be able to. My hair grows about 1/2 per month, so I'm not going to relax any further than a 1.5 inches.
