She said she isn't doing hair anymore. :(

Can anyone rec someone in LA to do my weave?

Oh, I get it now, lol. That's unfortunate.
It's hard to find a good weaver. I'm sure someone will give you a good suggestion soon!

Yes, on top of that .... one of the doctors I work with asked me if I was having a bad hair day

The worst part is that this girl did a good job and she only charged $90! In LA, this is a still. The lowest I can get typically is 200.

the only thing i can suggest is braiding your own hair and throwing on a wiggy
it will be 45 dollars at the most. thats half of what your gonna pay:grin:

lol you trying to bring me to the other side

I agree with seximami. :yep: i was down for weaves until my last one. That sucker itched SO bad AND caused me to lose hair around my edges. :nono: once i found the right wig i was HOOKED! you will be, too. TRUST me. half wigs are even better. :yep: i also hated having to rely on some flaky person to do my hair, not to mention the cost and how long it took. with wigs i can hook myself up on my own time. and the cost is SUBSTANTIALLY less.

I agree wholeheartedly about the wigs. Especially half-wigs. That's really all I wear now.

Your hair won't get any more tangled than normal. Just braid/twist/cornrow/pin it up and put the wig on. Easy. I got all my half-wigs from hairsisters.com.

I've found that I can completely take care of my hair. And the best part is you can take the wig off at night. And change your style everyday if you want to.

I had the SAME problems. :yep: I used to think wigs were for old people. :look: But once I got out there and started shopping for some I eventually found the right ones. It takes time and a good shop to find what's good for you, but eventually you will find one. And in terms of your hair, recommend just braiding it up under your wig. Either cornrows, or french braids, or some people even do plaits and pin them up. :yep:
