Sistaslick and Gymfreak. Whenever I read their posts I pay close attention b/c I know they are telling the truth.

They both know a lot about the chemical makeup of the hair strand/hair products and do great jobs of what really happens to the hair when you do x, y and z.

I was going to say them, too. I've referred others to info they post. Also NaturalGirl for homemade stuff and Nonie for 4b management tips and techniques and braids.

Gymfreak- Girlfriend knows her stuff. Point blank. Period. Dot Com

SistaSlick- What can I say about Sista that hasn't already been said?

www.roshini.net ----> She's not a member, but she taught me how to do my hair. :yep:

I'm new and think everyone's an expert and so i have quickly become a PJ! However, before using JustKiya's salt mixture i was ready to cut 2 inches because i thought my ends were split. Didn't know they were just dry. That mixture gave my hair new life i swear!
Oh, and it's because of SistaSlick that i came to this board. After my daughter showed me some of her articles, i started searching for her all over and ended up here.

Wow - you ladies had me copying and pasting all of these names and now I have a reference for research. I especially appreciate you all giving the reasons why you consider these ladies experts. Thanks for starting this

Oh, my!!! There are so many - There are many who have helped me on my hair journey that are not the regulars that post but the ones that come to mind are Shimmie, JustKiya, SistaSlick, Irresistable, Neith, and DontSpeakDefeat!

Everyone on this board helps one way or another by asking questions and introducing products I would have never even thought of using on my hair - yogurt, salt, garlic, Equine products...who knew? LOL

JusKiya:: So resourceful and loves researching ingredients.Shimmie: Very supportive and taught me a homemade garlic concoction that saved money and stopped shedding
Aggie: Very helpful when i first started my regimen. She also has many receipes for the hair!!

'Dit' to the 'to'. And how you gonna forget the t in JustKiya if she is one of your experts. A true fan (stalker) would not forget that. :look:

Nonie - great info and tips on natural hair and always willing to share
JustKiya - great information, styling tips, all with some science thrown in

Mine are Sista Slick, most definitly. Her Fokti really help me when I first became a member. Thank you very much. The next person would be Eisani, and gymfreak. I have learned a great deal concerning dominican products from Eisani and general hair maintenance from gym freak.

This is just a few, the rest can be found as my Fotki friends.

ooh, I'm please as punch this has gotten so many responses. I am thrilled. I've added some sistas to my list based on the shout out's here. Off to do a thread search and stalk fotkis.

Will start with Nonie and SistaSlick.

expert... that's a tough one... but i'd love to give a huge KUDOS!!! to Marbel! i've fallen in love with Clairol Luminize because of her. :yep:

I usually just lurk in this forum, but the people who I have found to be most helpful to me personally are Nonie, JustKiya, and SisterSlick. I also appreciate Sareca and Gymfreak; they stay helping in this forum and in the skin care forum! :yep:

Finally, I also need to say JanuaryNoir; she hipped everyone on to Wen and is responsible for it being so beloved on this forum. If it wasn't for her, even the other cleansing cream sold at Sally's wouldn't be as popular, because people were compelled to look at it through being turned off by Wen's price (:giggle:). JN was even kind enough to send me some Wen, which I will never forget, ever. :rosebud:

JustKiya always has her research going on. AngelDoll has the Auyrveda hookup. MissNorway is one of my hair twins and I tend to pay attention to her posts. I'm still a relative newbie, I just jumped right on in. I'm sure I'll think of others too.

Jada21 (I think that's her name)

I loved her advice and her blog, which seems to be gone now. Does anyone know if she has anoyher blog else where? I wish I had copied and pasted some of the information.
