No girl plz. Your hair just needs to grow some more so it can be fuller. Your ends look great too! Welocme to LHCF!

it looks thin and like you experienced some breakage back there. you could either cut it even or just let it takes it's course.

Welcome to the board!

Your hair might be naturally thin or you might just need to let it grow a bit more before it gets thicker. Your ends look fine and I wouldn't cut it. Unless, of course, you're looking for a more blunt cut. I would say you are shoulder length.

WElcome. Looks like the breakage I had a couple of years ago. IMHO, I would trim it so that all ends are even. You'll have an easier time managing it. Trust me. If I had to do it all over again, I would. I chose to hang on to length and resulted in set backs time after time. I could have had a thicker longer head of hear by now.

Your hair doesn't look bad. It just needs to thicken up. Personally, I would trim now...It would be more devastating for me to trim at BSL or beyond.

Welcome to the board!! I don't think its bad, its a little thin. You could wait a while to see how it grows in or trim it. If you are gonna trim It I would do it now at the beginning to get it over with. Once you start seeing results it's gonna be harder to trim because you won't want to loose progress/length. I would also classify you as shoulder length.

:welcome: your hair looks good!! Keep doing what you are doing, it will start to thicken maybe you can add castor oil to your conditioner

I think your hair needs some time in order to repair since it looks like you may have some breakage at the crown and nape area. What is your regimen?

And.... WELCOME TO THE BOARD! :bouncy:

I wash once a week with keracare hyrdrating detangling shampoo.
I Cw as needed
I deep condition every wash and cw with either nexxus humecstress or Aphogee 2 min
The only styles I'm doing are perms rods, ponies, and mini buns lol

Im gonna be completely honest with you it looks pretty bad.
But I have seen worse heads of hair, even on this forum transform into beautiful, thick long hair.

You can do it too!! It just takes time, and consistent TLC.

Have u found a regimen thats been working well for u so far?

It looks a lil thin at the crown, how often are u relaxing?

I think that you hair is fine, I do think that you should trim the end a little so that you can even out the back and this will make your hair feel and look thicker. It is better to have healthy hair then to keep length that may be damage. I hope it helps.

Welcome to LHCF!!!!

I think you have experience breakage. You need to trim. The hair looks a bit thin and I bet you its from over overprocessing your hair. At this point concentrate on the health not the length.

1-Stretch your relaxers ( example if you got a perm every 4 to 5 weeks get one every 6 to 8 weeks or longer if you can last) .

2-When you do get a touch up make sure the new growth ONLY is relaxed not the previously relaxed hair.

3- Use a moisturizing shampoo (good one Cream of nature green label).

4- Deep condition with every wash alternate between a moisturizing and protein conditioner.

5- Detangle only when hair is wet in the shower with conditioner in it using only a wide tooth comb. (NO Dry detangling that causes breakage)

6- Get a good creamy leave in conditioner ( Salerm or herbal essence long term relationship)

7-Roller set and dry on low heat or avoid heat for a whole air dry.

8- Keep away from frequent use curling Iron, flat irons, less is better ( If you use them use a heat protectant)

9- Find a good water based moisturizer ( not grease). A few good example is QP Mango butter, Organic root stimulator Olive oil or carrot oil creamy moisturizer. Concentrate it on the end use 2 x a day just a dime size.

10-Always use a silk or satin scarf and or pillow case. Keep away from cotton they are drying and sucks the oil and moisture out of your hair which causes breakage.

11- Protective low manipulation styles like buns and braids/twist are best for now. They will protect your ends and help you retain healthy length.

This is the basics. Work with this list. You will be fine. give it a little time and you will see a great difference. We are all here to help you.

I was going to say something about the roots too

I'm thinking this might be a case where stopping the relaxers before it gets worse might apply, this isnt just thin ends, but the crown is sparse as well.
But yes she can make a huge turn around with the proper information, she's in the right place :yep:
