So I recieved the HairHuggers that I bought from QVC today. Right on the package it says it's made by Hairzing, the same company as, well, Hairzings are.

My hair is only a little past APL, and there is no way on this planet I can fit all my naps into this thing! :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: The most I can accomodate is half of my hair into one HairHugger... grr. Looks like my mom will be getting these for her B-day. $40 (inc shipping) down the friggin drain.

Well, I guess it's kinda my fault... the QVC ones are one size fits all... Even with 2 they are straining. I'm on a year-long bun challenge, so wearing half of my hair up isn't really going to help much.

You can wear your hair in a traditional bun and use the hair hugger on top as an adornment. You will have to twist it so that it sorta looks like a butterfly on top of the bun.

Kinda like this but the hair zing is not really holding any of your hair. It is just sitting on top of the bun.

This is a good idea... it's a nice way to dress up a bun, which I'll definately need on a year-long bun challenge!

I'm halfway ready to get senegalese twists and keep them bunned. Would that count for my challenge I wonder?

I have 4 hair huggers that I got from QVC. I paid 18 dollars for two, which was a little cheaper than hairzings. Yes, they are made by hairzing but I like them alot and plan on buying more.

one size fits all, hmmm? can you return them? there is no one size fits all, so i wonder which size you actually got. i first ordered a medium by mistake and it was too small. you might try the large if you still want one. they do stretch after a couple of wears, too. you can also wear them when your hair is in a more compressed state, like in twists or a defined twist out. i have a video tutorial and my hair is pretty thick. also i have some pics of styles in my fotki.

Well, I put my hair into a big bun when it was dripping wet and more compliant than usual, and I did get the Hairzing to fit over it. :yay:

But when I took it out, it ripped out 3 hairs! Long ones, too! :cry2:
