I often wondered if this was all her hair:look:

My first thought is perm rods. There was a youtube video floating around here a while ago of a lady who had her hair done like that with perm rods.

I think perm rods but I would just find me a comparible wig instead of going thru all the trouble.

I would set my hair, vertically, with very small (maybe 5/8") magnetic rollers. After the set is dry, I would separate the curls.

perm rods would work but you would have to make sure to pull and shape the curls so they looked natural. flexi rods would have a softer look to them. but I think perm rod sets last better (at least in my experience) so I vote for perm rods.

I have seen a style like this before. It was done on natural hair. Let in dry natural, no blow drying, no parting (just pick up pieces) and used a curling iron. Very Nice!

Sew in. :look: Or a wig. That way you could rock this look for a party (or whatever) without all the manipulation. You can get one in every color!:lick:

I love her hair like this, I believed this was all her hair before she did the big chop. I like the hairstlye she has now also.:yep:

ditto on the drinking staws...i had a strawset done by a professional once and the spirals were amazing! its a great transitioning style also

I just did this style the other day by mistake. I use the blue and yellow small magnetic rollers and I was presently surprised.

I would use drinking straws, you get a lighter, bouncier curls IMO

Drinking straws are going to produce a thinner tighter curl than that.

Use magnetic rollers. But, when you roll your hair, roll it in a spiral pattern instead of straight up and down.
