The formula is made with suflur and other oils
Yes you have to shake it beofre you use it

There are two scents: Mango and Strawberry-Kiwi. They both smell good. I don't smell the sulfur at all. But that is just my nose...lol

BTW: I asked about the free moisturizer. It is the sulfurless serum. I use it as a sealer on soaking wet hair. I wouldn't use them both at the same time, the scent will be super strong.
