Here's three month update. From June to September. I only have here my wash and go pictures to show how much shrinkage, and the lenght checks. I have more on my fotki, but I have to upgrade my fotki cause I said I reached the maximum of pictures :ohwell:

sorry it's backwards lol

my daily hairstyle, wash and go. i've noticed the shrinkage awhile ago thats why i went into my hair album iPhoto and saw the differences lol

my relaxed hair was dyed bluest black, and then after awhile it was just jet black, and i think it's just black or like 2a. My natural hair color is like bronze/copper and you can see the growth difference in these pictures. My last color touch up was two to three weeks before my last relaxer.

I'll have more pictures cause I want you guys to help me determine my hair type :look: its not a big deal to me though, just curious cause everyone talks about hair types here. but i have to work on getting better shots on the curls though.. so until then...

:)

Oh, thanks for sharing. I love your wash n go pic. Since I stopped using MTG, my texture has changed. I have no idea what I'll look like if I tried a wash n go....um never mind!:nono:

thanks everyone.

It looks so shiny. Do you wear it in a wash and go most of the time?

When i first started i wore it everyday. I co-washed every morning with whatever conditioner i was trying out for that week and some evoo. when i get out the shower I keep scrunching it up with some BTZ noodlehead curling syrup and leave in. I use some type of shiny serum or anti-frizz for the shine. I'll straighten it like once or twice a month to avoid detangling so much and shedding.

but honestly the whole month of september I was wearing it straight alot because of my new growth the front of my wash and go looked horrible :( i only did it for like two weeks the rest it was straightened in september. but now i'm back to doing it almost daily.

Your hair is so full and nice. How is your transitioning going?

thanks. It could be better right now. im one of those people who can't pull off any hairstyle unfortunately. so its hard coming by hairstyles where I dont have to manipulate my hair so much (IE straightening) during this phase. im still trying different products. i give them a week or two but Suave tropical coconut con made it to my staples list.

I realized that i was doing REALLY good with my Redken Smooth Down Butter Treat as a deep conditioner and also regular conditioner every other day if my mom brought another tube for her (times are hard and that mess is $16).

i've been slacking on hiding my ends at night and its starting to show.

Your hair looks great! Are you transitioning from being texlaxed? How long are you in your transition?

sorry I took so long, anyway I'm transitioning from relaxed since June of this year. So I'm pretty much 4 months into it now.

I have to upgrade my Fotki since I reached the max MB with the free version so I upload more pictures. I'm loving my new growth texture but I can't take good up close pictures of my roots for anything.
