So, I finally got in touch with dc labs to see if I could order some OCT (I had trouble doing it on their site). They sent me a paypal money request and with shipping the bill came to......

Lawdhavemercy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should I be spending this much money on this stuff? I mean.... I have seen the results and everything, but..........
DH will kill me for sure......If I buy it then I will have to come up with a very good explanation for it

Mega Tek is only $30 and is just as effective based on the thread activity its gotten here.

To each its own but i'd rather be outta $30 than $100..Have you tried the exchange forum to see if anyone else wasted their money on it and want to re-sell it to you?

Thanks for responding. I actually have Mega tek. I read that MT is more for thickness and OCT for length. I am looking for length more than thickness right now.

If you just buy the Cell Therapy it should come out cheaper than getting the entire line.

I just looked at the ingredients again and I'd say keep your money in your pocket but I'm no expert.

It just looks the only real difference is ovation is marketed for humans.

I guess her hands were tied and she didn't want to say anything bad about their parent company. But based on that convo. and results that I have seen from MT users on the board, I opted for the MT.

If anything just buy what you will be using the most. For instance if it was me, since I co wash more, I will just buy the creme rinse. I also hear the shampoo is very stripping, therefore you probally want be using it often. However the creme rinse you can use for your co washing. Just an ideal, to save you so money, and a shorter court session with the DH.

I'm using the last of my OCT now... I have 4 bottles..lol of MT to start on.. I'on know about that length then thickness stuff... but ok.

"in my opionon" i would just keep the MT. i want to try OCT too but for $100! na but MT to me doesnt seem inferior to OCT its just they say you get some thickness before length. With me and my fine hair I would like to see thickness before length. I dont want to have long thin hair.

Sorry..., but that's NOT gonna happen. I'd recommend that you stick with the cheaper product, relax your mind and your hair will grow. If you purchase the more expensive product, and impatiently expect quick growth, you will be disappointed, and pissed off that you spent so much money and you are not getting any faster growth.

Personally, I have both products, and neither one works better than the other. Only difference is that MT leaves a little bit more deposit than the OCT (even though OCT also leaves a deposit). AND sorry to disappoint, I am not getting any overnight growth. Overtime, the products will help to increase growth but it takes time.

Girl, I did not mean that literally. I know there are no miracles. I am just more focused on growth than thickness. My hair is very thick and I would like to focus more on length now, but this does not mean I want to find a miracle growth aids. Thanks for your feedback

EQyss owns DC Labs which makes both MT & OCT. They are essentially the same product. Ovation is the same as the equine line but packaged to make people more comfortable using it. I was going to start a thread but I did a LHCF search and found other threads where this is discussed. If I were to try this, I'd get the MT first because it costs less and if I did not like the results or see progress I'd get the OCT but not the entire line, just the one product. Good luck whatever you choose.

I think you're right. The other day I put some Dr Miracle's growth oil on my scalp and then went running...my head was on fire!!! lol, but in a good way.

I want some OCT or MT badly, but something in me just doesn't believe that either works better than time & patience.
