IS OCT REALLY WORTH MY $100

I have used OCT since about 2009. I used MegaTek before that. They DO work to speed growth. No doubt about it. I stopped using MT because it made my hair hard, but I didn't understand about protein/moisture balance back then. So I say stick with your MT. Dilute it with oils if you need to. OCT is good, but isn't worth $100.

Reading this thread reminded me of my MT days and I may go back to using that when my OCT runs out.

I swear I've read somewhere, I think from an article talking about teh EQYSS site, that Mega Tek and OCT are the same thing. The OCT was formulated specifically for humans after the horse groomers started using the MEga Tek on themselves.

OCT works wonderful on my hair. I use it sparingly and it's in a very healthy state. I have learned my hair loves protein but I do use a moisturizing conditioner twice a week.

I used MegaTek back in 2008 because when I did the BC I cut the left side more than the right. I didn't want to cut my hair again so my reasoning was let me apply this to the left side and front of my hair so I can even it out. Yeah probably stupid reason... LOL

So anyway my point is that I ended up growing an inch a month on the left side and the front grew like crazy as well (nose length to chin in 3 months). If I wasn't so damn lazy I would've continued using the MT. My hair didn't get any thicker, but it certainly grew. If you have the money then buy the Ovation, but honestly I think you're better off with just using the MegaTek.

OP, I didn't vote because I have never used it so I don't know if you get results.

I say clarify and only ask peopke who used the product.

I used it back in 2008-2009 and it worked well. I saw growth, but not 'magic' growth. I only used the Cell Therapy, not the whole set.

I ordered 2x and stopped. The bottom line for me was it is just another protein based conditioner. It strengthened my hair and smelled wonderful. I learned that I can use Elucence extended moisture repair treatment or Affirm 5 in 1 reconstructior and get the same results with time and patience.

I used it and had to stop because of to much growth. I was seriously having to color my grey roots on a weekly basis and I didn't have that kind of time.
