Has anyone tried new product line? If so, what did you think of it? All I've read thus far is the write-up in September's Essence.

I haven't tried it yet...but I did get some samples in my curl mart order. I may try it soon, but the contents don't look great!!!

That stinks. Has anyone gone to him? I am looking for someone to trim my hair and I am afraid of taking all this hair into some random salon...it scares people and they just start hacking at it.

Me too, I want to try the shampoo and conditioner on Sunday. No matter how good it is I proably won't buy.

I was disappointed with the ingredients in the finishing cream. As much as it costs Petrolatum and Mineral Oil shouldn't be in the beginning of the list.

I never tried it but my girlfriend sat in on one of his demo's recently. She was very excited about his products, and asked me to check it out. The pics were good and all but when I looked at the ingredient list *clutches pearls, blinks thrice* I was like awwww nawww. This stuff couldn't touch my hair with a 10 ft pole. I'm not as cone sensitive as others but I can't go all buckwild with it either. It's too much or they are insoluble, then it really does damage my hair. It seems like he done went to one of these apothecary sites where you make all your own stuff and got every silicone known to man and put in this stuff. Of course your hair is gonna glide and look all springy, but what's it gonna look like naked? I'd have to be clarifying allt he time with this stuff and my hair might as well be 2 inches short because it wont be stayin on my head. I'll pass on this one... Nice try though, Anthony. I'm sure he meant well. There's just not enough fairy dust in the world to bring my hair back to life after that :\

I had a consultation at the Tina Pearson Salon (where Dickey works) last week. The first question was if I used Hair Rules products. The products (according to my understanding) are really meant to be used together. You need the shampoo, AND the conditioner, AND the styler, AND the finishing cream. That's a LOT of product for one style. I saw pics, and the hair looked GREAT, but I don't have the time to be applying that many steps to my crazy thick head of hair. Not to mention I am moving TOWARDS a simpler regimen, not trying to create more work for myself.

I might go to the salon for a proper cut, but based on my verbal consultation, and seeing the ingredients, I wouldn't use the products personally. And for that cost???? Forget it!

I used this last year. You may get this product to work for you but I think for most it wont be a hit. They smell good but no great performance. There are already products that ladies on this board recommend that will do better.

But if you really want to try it, check Ulta first. I am sure I saw it in there last time I went.
