when i got my hair done at the shop the lady took off the rest of my scab hair which was frizzy dry and the ends were nasty looking if you ask meerplexed my hair has gotten so much better im going to make a poll with this.


these pics are with dry hair at the end of the day with redken smooth down leave in

And people say scab hair isn't real, well you proved that not to be true. Do me a favor, next time someone starts a thread about scab hair and someone asks for proof/pics, please post these. i always wondered why the hair growing out of my hair was wavy and my ends were frizzy but im glad the sizzor happy stylist solved my problem and yes it did im glad its all gone now.
if i see it i will post but if you see it first you can send a pic link or send the thread

i believe that it is when you do your bc[big chop] and the scab hair is the remaining hair that is left that was not cut[the relaxed hair] or that grew out of your scalp[for someone that shaved there head after a relaxer] that didnt hold a curl/was not your true texture.

i hope i defined scab hair right correct me if im wrong somebody

i use aussie moist but i ran out of it and im finishing up my
flawless curls
vo5 moisture milks[only one squeeze left
garner curl and shine conditioner[used only once but have to get rid of it by finishing]

i use she butter and coconut oil to moisturize and i currently use my new leave in redken smooth down conditioner

Our texture is extremely similar! It's an ever so slightly looser 4a than average with very pronouced coils. It behaves like a type 3 in some ways.

Hard to tell just from pics, but there may be just a little 4b/3c somewhere in there too (like me!).

thanks and like on the sides and in the nape my hair is really loose slightly wavy. in the middle of my head is 2 patches of 4b the curlies are really small

Definitely 4a. That's how my hair looked when it was shorter. Your dry ends may have been scab hair.
