Does henna covers greys

Yes, it does, it turns them a coppery red color, and it doesn't wear off - you'll just have to retouch the roots.
Definitely do a strand test to be sure you like the color.

It does covers the gray very well and I add some indigo (black) so it's not too red (clownish!) and to blend in better with the rest of my hair. I love to henna - it's one of my favorite things to do to my hair. It's so healthy for your hair and has conditioning and curl loosening properties.

Thanks, I will def try it now

OP...since your hair is so black in the pics, do a henna 1st and then do an indigo, IOW a two step. It takes about 3 separate applications of this to fully take, but it should take your greys to black or nearly. The very 1st time they should between mid brown to dark brown. Of course, how dark your hair will ultimately be is dependent on how grey you are
starting out.

Henna by itself will give orange on grey and henna+indigo will give varying shades of orange-brown. If you want to remove the issue of orange, a two step of henna then indigo.

I have on a colour in the pic - not henna. My hair color is a dark brackish brown and I now have about 1-3% grey. Thanks for the great tips!
