Mega-Tek question

Is this the same mega-tek that people are using on here for growth? I just need some clarification because it does not state "for human use". If it is then great. I justw ant to know before i try it out...

It will say so on the bottle. This particular website didn't indicate that in their product description.

If you want to leave in only leave it on the scalp until the next time you rinse/wash. Don't use as a leave in on the hair. Use it on the hair when it's wet only and then rinse out. Moisturize, seal and style as desired.

Make sure you do weekly deep conditioners using a moisturizing conditioner.

I co-sign this. I wish I would have ordered when I first joined here in July. Even though my hair has been growing and is better now because of this board, I'd probably have an extra inch by now.

Last time i recall wasn't cancer caused by cell's mutiplying to much, and this is a cell regerator and imsure hair cells are the second fastest regenerating cells in the body (the first been bonemarrow or something like that someone feel free to correct me if im wrong). So what is it that is causing the cells to regenerate somuch/thus causing rapid hair growth. I need to see that it is really 200% safe and has no long term adverse side effects before i purchase it...

I'm glad to see that you are asking questions before purchasing a new product....I don't know about long term use for Mega-tek....B-u-t...if you visit www.ovationhair.com and read the testimonials and videos..there's someone on their who's been using the product for over 10 years.....both OCT and MT are made by the same company...Ovation is just marketed towards humans and MT is marketed towards horse lovers....HTH!!

All I know is that it has something to do with the protein and the fact that it doesn't have any harmful ingredients like petroleum, synthetic polymers, waxes, mineral oils, and silicones that seem to dry out and stunt hair growth. Hello! its me again! What is the consistency of MT is it watery/runny or creamy etc? Can i just apply it to my sclap or will it run everywhere? Do i need an applicator bottle?! Sorry for all the questions...

What about just on the ends? I was thinking that maybe it would be good to keep the ends stronge if I moisturize and seal. Any thoughts?

Does anyone else get a headaches after they apply? Another stupid questions, how are you massaging your scalp? my scalp is so damn tight i can barely get it to move, I'm afraid I am pulling my hair by trying to get it to move.

Ok, final comment. My first wash treatment with Mega Tek was the first time in YEARS that I have had so few hairs come out. I have essentially stopped shedding as opposed to everyone elses comments and my hair dries so fast. Does anyone know what makes it dry so fast?

I did a search in the challenge thread and I saw January Noir's response - YES, ORS May would be too much protien and as JN put it my hair would be a helmet. LOL. I'm going to use Aggie's suggestion and use the Pantene Mask.

OK, I think I'm going to place an order (I'm blaming you Aggie!!!!). I do have one question, can I DC with ORS Mayo or the replenishing conditioner - would that be too much protein? I'm thinking that would be too much protein.
