Your fingercoils look great! But do tell how do you maintain them? Set hair on Friday night using small diameter flexi-rods. Set came out great. Saturday morning after sleeping on them was another story!

Well I used plenty of Fantasia IC gel this time. They still came out surprisingly soft, especially once I did the rinse. I just slept on a satin pillowcase and tied them down loosely.

You did a great job! I did some too a lil after I BC, didn't too much like them neither, but they lasted at least 4 days before I decided to wash them out. I'm not sure if I'll attempt it again, maybe when it gets a lil longer, I just might. But pat yourself on the back, yours definitely came out awesome!

Definitely try them again, they are worth revisiting. I made myself not do them because my first set took so long to do only to not even last through that night. Now that I have more knowledge, I know this can be a style that lasts a few days.

Oh my god I remember that the first time i BC in my life I had that done... I was loving the look on other woman but on me I looked like some type of junkie ....its so sad BUT I want to try it and put a head band in front to see if it can come out good heres a pic of my comb coils bacccccccck than.

It was done with a rat tail comb I didnt like the crispy feeling left on my hair due to the ol black gel

You just wet it/gel it up really well and twirl it around on your finger until the whole coil is done.

OH my goodness. I've just spent 20 minutes surfing trying to see/figure out what "Finger Coils" are. Dang it, they're simply single strand twists. The same method I used to attempt dreadlocking (after over 8 months, still wasn't locked; impatience got the best of me and here I am [@ LHCF]).

KCcurly, I copied your finger coils and this is how mine came out...

The good news is they lasted a whole day and they looked so cute. The bad news is they felt so soft and curly that I couldn't get my hands out of them. My OCD kicked in and I had to unravel them, wash my hair and slap on a ponytail cuz I was driving myself crazy

I think youre my hair twin except my front is waves and my patch of like 2b hair in the back
