Thank you!! yep, I did them myself!! Used a little over 2 packs of marley braid - it took maybe 6/7 hours altogether?? I did them over the course of the weekend - lots of breaks.

I want to learn how to do them on my own head. Did you use a tutorial? I'm just in awe.

My twists are about 3 weeks old. My cousin put them in and between eatin', running back to the BSS for more hair and a trip to the licka sto' , it took about 13 hours on my transitioning head. (And that's without cutting and curling the ends.)

I did check out a couple of youtube tutorials (sorry I can't post the link - i'm at work and youtube is banned!) but it was actually pretty easy. i cut the hair in 1/2 before i put them in so i just curled the ends w/ old hot rollers and boiling water.

Yeah? That's what she did too (cut the hair in half) but that was still too much for me, I wanted that mess cut some more.

When I get home I'll check out You Tube. Thanks for the heads up. Your twists look so professional.
