okay, so I'm still learning the basics... what's a braid out, and a twist out? How do you determine your hair type? Is it the same as finding the right weave? I think I'm a 1b then, but I'm not sure. Also, what is co-washing? Is that like, conditiong everyday? And how do you do the baggy thing? you go to sleep with a blastic cap on your head?

Oh Lordy... This is confusing. Someone please quinch my thirst for knowledge :lick:

ok...

for a braidout braid your hair damp or dry and unbraid it. you now have crimps. well sort of.

for a twistout its the same thing...just twist your hair.

no finding your hair type is not the same as finding a weave...it's the curl pattern of your natural hair and you have to have at least a few inches of NG to determine it.

cowashing is using your conditioner, usually a cheap one, like shampoo. you dont have to do it everyday.

you can baggy your ponytail or your whole head.

if the search feature is not working mook has a good post that is stickied...shows you how to search for more info on these things. then there is always fotki stalking...find a member whose hair you like and stalk their fotki (if they have one).
