7/25 Relaxer Update (w/Pics) - Touching the top of BSL!

 Ladies!!

Well I did something this time around that I never do, I relaxed my hair before my usual 12 week stretch was over:blush:. I just couldn't take it anymore, my hair has been misbehaving terribly this month...everything from dry, and raggedy looking ends, to slight breakage .

Sooo, I relaxed it at 10 weeks post with the intentions of trimming (it's been 7 months). And GUESS WHAT? I’m touching the top of my brastrap! :pulpdance: :woohoo:  :bouncy: :Copy of 2cool: :headspin: :yahoo:

So um, I’m guessing I’ll wait a few more weeks to trim :look:…I want to enjoy this "high" (while babying my ends) for a while longer, before my scissor-happy stylist tries to send me back to APL :ohwell:.

Just thought I’d share…HAPPY HAIR GROWING !!

Your hair looks beautiful, i can't imagine yo've been having the problems you mentioned.

Congrats girl.

Congratulations!!! Your hair is absolutely beautiful! I don't think you need a trim either.

What relaxer are you using... just curious :look:

Your hair looks great and doesn't look like you need a trim at all. Can't wait till I'm that lenght again.

 <doing the wop and the running man>

YAY!!!! Congrats! Your hair is da BOMB! <yeah, I said "da bomb">

You have Gaw-jus hair! CONGRATS on reaching BSL!!! :dance7:

OMG just looked at the pic of your starting length in sep 06...that is amazing progress!

don't even dare trim. Your ends look perfect to me. I think you felt that your ends were raggedy because you were due for a touch up.

Also if your hairdresser so much as snips a hair off that stunning hair, i'm coming to fight her from London. Just give me her addie!!:fishslap::spank::brucelee::bat::gunner7:

Awww, thanks for all the :love4: ladies...I don't know where I'd be without this board and all of you...probably somewhere doing this :pullhair:!

:lachen:

Congrats Dream!!! Your hair looks great. I love that bun in your avi BTW. I think you should hold off on trimming, at least til your next relaxer...if you can wait that long. It doesn't look bad at all.

Ohhhhh, its sooooo pretty! Your middle picture is where I want to be!:lick:

From the looks of the pics, you don't need to trim!:nono:

I don't know what else to do . I had a little flat-ironing mishap 4th of July weekend, and my hair hasn't been the same since. It was my first time flatironing it in YEARS...and I think I permanently damaged my hair :cry2:. I've been DC'ing, moisturizing, and I've even done a protein treatment to help with the breakage...NOTHING has worked.

What relaxer are you using... just curious :look:

I've been using Mizani Sensitive Scalp for a little over a year.

I was secretly hoping a touch-up would help :look:. I don't know what roots have to do with ends, but it was worth a try. I think it curbed some of the breakage...my ends are still frayed though :ohwell:...not silky like they used to be .

:lachen::lachen::lachen: Uh-oh...she better watch out for you!! London don't play!

I think you should hold off on trimming, at least til your next relaxer...if you can wait that long. It doesn't look bad at all.

I wish! I don't plan on relaxing again until October, and that'll make me 9 months post trim...I'd be pushing it.
