"Pics attached"..I went from THAT to THIS but.....

BUT I can't remember the exact steps how I did it or what I usedI have soooo many products under my cabinet!!! I tried to flat iron it today but it did not turn out the same way it did back in May 08 ....sooo I just rewashed it and called it a day....Has this ever happened to you???


ETA!!! I just noticed the products in the corner of the last pic, I see IC polisher in the pink bottle, I did not use it this time..... I can't make out the rest of the products, let me go do a little investigating!!!!

I get what you are saying. You are saying that the first pics are your natural hair and the second set is where you straightened it.

Basically you used a certain method and/or products to achieve the straight look but you can't remember because you have so many products? I think I am right but who knows?

I think this has happened to me when I might have retired some products for a while and then I can't remember what I did to have that straight look before.

EXACTLY!!! LOL.......my hair turned out kinda poofy this time!!! So I'm thinking that I used a different product or blowdried my hair before, I let it airdry this time then brushed it out before trying to flat iron it, maybe the blowdrying the first time made a difference I dunno!!! oh well

I can do the exact same things and use the same ingredients to the last minor details.... and not get the same results. My natural hair is too unpredictable.

I love your flat iron results that you got in May. And yup - there sure have been times that I have done a style to wash it out because it didn't look right.

I know how you exactly how you feel. I started keeping a journal documenting products and techniques used when ever I washed my hair. I've been using my journal consistently for almost a year and it is sooo helpful when I want to replicate a style/results. Or when something goes completely wrong, I'll document it so I know not to do it again.

Yes, I did these myself it was my first attempt !! They took about 6 hours to do, I have since started making them ALOT bigger but I dont have pics of those SORRY ......I also cornrowed my friends hair with extensions, this was also my first attempt!! PICS ATTACHED
