her "distant cousin" stopped by. I took everyone's advice and started over. I rewashed with a clarity shampoo and then used a moisturizing poo w/QP Intense Moisture CO.

Did another roller set...using "watered down" Lotta Body, IC "straightening" serum and a little oil on the ends. Came out very curly...NG was not as straight as I liked and was still "fluffy" this time..BUT it feels soft and looks much better.

Was trying to "flat iron" with a curling iron..OK..I know..I know...and although it got straight it is still fluffy. Would love to get it straighter...but dont want to use any more heat on my hair.

Any suggestions??? I'm taking a pic tonight so you all can see what my hair looks like now. :)

Ok...everyone. Here is my pic from my meeting with Mrs. Puffs distant cousin...Mrs. Fluff. I did another roller set today. As you can see, it isn't as straight as I would like, but it feels nice, is soft but fluffy.

I am SL but my goal is to get BSL before October. I am stretching my relaxer now...dont want to get another one until probably the end of the month or next month. Eventually I think I would like to go natural within a year..still thinking about it. Need to know how to get my hair more straighter without using a lot of heat.

Did you rollerset tight enough? I'm thinking it might have something to do with technique or the kind of rollers you used. And did you make sure to have your hair WET when you did it? You need to keep reapplying the setting lotion or water. . .or I do. . .to get that "straight" and non-puffy look, in addition to some other things.
