Oooooooh. I was about to get jazzings for my hair.

How does it compare to jazzing?

I'm going to look into it.

it has more conditioning properties I think

Info
Beautiful Collection is the truly gentle semi-permanent color - so gentle you can color immediately after relaxing. There's no ammonia and no peroxide! Enriched with Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E, the conditioning formula actually moisturizes as it colors-leaving hair feeling silky soft and looking beautiful.
Beautiful Collections comes in 15 lustrous shades designed to complement a variety of skin tones.

Mixing / Timing : The Beautiful Collection is not mixed with anything. It should be applied with an applicator bottle on shampooed, towel dried hair. Apply all over and process for 25 minutes. Heat can be used to make it last longer. Heat should not be used right after a relaxer. Rinse out, do not shampoo.
More Info : Beautiful Collection will cover the gray hair in the colors on the color chart. It cannot lighten dark hair. Some of the Beautiful Red and Beautiful Bright shades will add tone (show up a little) on dark hair. Because it is semi-permanent the colors may turn greenish or violet on a lot of gray hair. Recommend numbers 52, 54, 56 and 58 to keep this from happening. The customer may need to switch to a permanent haircolor.

I have used it way longer than 25 minutes , more like a few hours, and with a light conditioner application before hand seems to help the color take better :yep:

It's much better than jazzings because it doesn't stain your pillow cases and it isn't as drying as jazzings. Try it I think you will like it.

I used this twice and it didn't last at all. It rinsed out in about 2 1/2 weeks. I loved the results......just hate it didn't last.

I just bought Color Showers. I hear this lasts much longer.

I recommend using heat with it, for about 15 - 20 minutes or longer. I think that will help it to last longer because the cuticle will be open alittle.

You ain't nevah lied. This stuff stains the pillow cases like crazy, which is why I don't use it anymore.

my mom uses this on her hair. it doesnt work for me though. i prefer adore:lick:. work everytime like a charm.

Can someone post the ingredients?

I've googled it and nothing comes up.

I have henna in my hair and I would like to know what's in it to make sure it doesn't have a bad reaction...

Thanks for the info Irresistible. I saw this at Sally's a few weeks ago on the clearance table and walked right past it.

I like the results I have gotten from this line. Matter of fact I have a bottle of dark brown sitting in my bathroom...I need to stop being lazy and actually USE it.

I never thought to put conditioner on my hair first. Are you just wetting your hair and applying conditioner? Or are you actually washing your hair first?

I love this too! Jazzing doesn't cover my grays or condition my hair like the Beautiful Collection does. I have mixed it with conditioner...I have also used a mild moisturizing shampoo after rinsing it out and that seemed to soften my hair up a lot.

I only use this on my top and front , so while the hair is dry and the rest is up in a bun, I add conditioner to the top and edges of my hair, wait a little while, then pour this all around the top and edges, and leave it on for a while, it gives total coverage, then I rinse and CW , and I'm done , it lasts for at least a month

Did it with heat and left it on for 45 min. ........still came off quick.
I hate it did cause I loved the color. Plus you can't beat the price.
Glad it works for you ladies.......I just need something that's going to last a bit longer.
:)

Cosigning!

I just tried this stuff for the first time last week.I strand tested two from Sally's BS. I forgot the name of the other one but it was in a purple bottle. The purple bottle one made my hair feel dry and rough. I decided to try again w/ Beautiful collection. It worked great!

I used the blackest black and boy is it black. It covered the gray and didn't make my hair hard or wiry.  I'm gonna try the dark brown next time. So far it's a winner .... :fingercrossed:
