Is it true that SEMI-permanent hair color can be done on the same day as a relaxer??? And does that go for ALL semi-permanent hair colors???

If it's true, is it safe to do this???
I relax with Elasta QP Mild and want to use Sebastians Colourshines black color (if I cant find Sebastians, I want to try Texture&Tones or Clairol Beautiful Collection).

Yes it is true, but Ive only done it with adore and elasta qp colour, I prefer adore.

Yes, it's true but I prefer to wait at least a week before putting anything else on my scalp after a relaxer. My scalp is very sensitive after a relaxer, and the color makes it even more irritated.

My scalp is pretty strong and has never had problems with relaxers or color. I have had burn spots before but that was from scratching before relaxing.

When I was getting rinses, I'd get them the day of my relaxer each time. I couldn't tell you which type I was getting, because I only knew them by color names. HTH

Thanks you all! I guess I'll just relax and color at the same time instead of waiting for 2 weeks after my relaxer to color.

I always get a rinse immediately after a relaxer, with no problems. I THINK a rinse is the same as a semi-color but I'm not quite sure.

I use to always get my Sebastian Colorshine done at the same time I got my relaxer. Colorshines actually have conditioning properties & help protect the hair.

Yes, it's safe.
I think a semi permanent is a little longer lasting than a rinse. IMO, the semi permanents don't "bleed" as much as a rinse, during washes.
