Because you aren't using Phytospecific relaxer??:lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:

Seriously, it made my hair look better than it ever has after a fresh relaxer - and that includes salon relaxers. This time I relaxed it and never even flatironed it and got the "professional" look.

What relaxer are you using? The one in the picture, or are you using that picture as an example?

I think alot of it is in the actual haircut...youd be amazed how different (Oprah) your hair is when you have a great cut from a qualified pro. Not everyone can cut hair.

i think it's in the condition and styling method...I can get my hair to swing...but it's kinda thick n heavy... when I go to the salon and get a roller/wrap...it's got that light, airy swing... I'm gonna work on it though, since I don't plan on paying a stylist for a while!

Homegirl's hair has a lot of moisture, it's healthy and she DOES NOT use THAT relaxer!! :lachen:

My hair looked that good when it was healthier, and it looked even better when I wrapped it, put a scarf on and sat under the dryer.

I used to wonder that too. When one relaxer didn't work so well, I'd find the next best looking person on another box and waste some more money lol. If only I had known that I just didn't know how to treat relaxed hair, I wouldn't have had such high expectations.

Really?? I might have to try that...I usually use either the one in the picture or sometimes I'll go the salon.

The women on those boxed I'm sure may have the same problems if they relaxed their own hair. The company is trying to sell a product, so you know they have their top knotch stylist hooking it up and using reflective lighting so that it bounces off of the hair  Don't be discouraged please, just take your time.

I've been using ORS for a couple years now, and I will not stray. It's all in the technique after you relax.

Avoid products that weigh down the hair.

Am I missing something?

That's a very good relaxer and very popular here.

Just because her picture is on the box doesn't mean that's the ONLY product used or the only method of straightening used.

They probably gave her the whole salon treatment, with a killer cut included. Plus a good amount of photoshop.
