Has anybody used any of these for growth? Is it even true that these are growth aids? If you have used any of these, what were you results??

you should look up the Cayenne pepper challenge thread, everybody abandoned it due to itching and scalp soreness

I think mixing them all together has the potential for major scalp tenderness

Cinnamon would be kinda srubbing it
Peppermint oil , cooling/burning it
Cayenne pepper , really burning it :burn:

oh you werent asking about using them all together hahaha

That would be so crazy I think

Well I have never used any of them, but separately if I had to pick one I would pick Peppermint oil for the reasons I already stated about the others, but I dont know if it causes growth

ummm.... I made a concoction of peppermint oil and cinnamon and diffused it in olive and grapeseed oil... :look: *laughing nervously*

Is this okay? Will it promote growth?

Well diffused in oil the cinnamon wouldnt be such an irritant on the scalp , I dont know about growth, but it certainly wouldnt hurt to try it, sounds interesting though

Yeap the pepper irratates the scalp. Causing you to itch or stritch at your scalp, this is supposed to stimulate growth. I think the same thing would happen if you just scratched you scalp every day. Ohh and exercise, this will promote healthy blood circulation.

My advice...don't do it. However, if you are, be VERY careful w/ proportions here. ALL of th e herbs you want to infuse are known irritants separately....but together you must be very careful, esp being so near to the eyes. At the very least you will have alot of hot-cold sensations like having Ben Gay on your scalp...icy-hot VERY HOT.

IOW, what Irresistable said.

The peppermint and cayenne are supposed to stimulate the blood beneath the skin (a lot like how it burns the tongue and creates a sensation, almost like a throbbing feeling at times).
It could work (though I personally do not believe in the supposed magic of growth aids)... give it a go... just don't let the concoction run into you eyes. :burning:
