I tried the method with Aubrey's ,but it didn't work. Next I used Elucence and it did smooth my hair out, but it left white curds in my hair. This is not a technique to use if I wash my hair in the morning.

I've wondered this too. Is this good for relaxed hair? Relaxed hair is so finicky about what you can and can't do to it.
I've had much success using this method here....squeezing it out is what makes the difference. I do a a touch more to the ends after squeezing it out and my hair is pretty perfect. I'm using Elucence right now but i've used herbal essence, vo5 & suave...I also tried it with Aubrey conditioners and have had great results. I notice I have a bit more definition and lots of moisture with less product. I'm not even using my standard leave-in right now cause I don't need it. In the winter that probably will change though. THe only thing is i shampoo more often (once a week) cause my scalp gets itchy. I don't use anymore conditioner than normal and I detangle only once a week and my hair is doing well.
nope, just softer shinier hair with more drop in it. my hair dries like it looks in my avatar instead of resembling a TWA.I will try the cheapies then.
Exactly what does it do for your hair, ladies?
By leaving these rinse out condishes in, are you noticing fragility of the strands?
ITA...i love to touch my hair after it has dried from a cowash.I wash some of the conditioner out but not all. Does that count? Works fine. Hair is always soft and feels well moisturised.
