Joico k pak professional 17 minute miracle

This sounds really interesting to me. I want to know more e.g.

Who has used it?
What do you think of it?
Do it stop severe breakage?
Does it moisturise?
How often can it be used?
Is your hair natural or relaxed?

And if you have anything else to add feel free

I was thinking about use it once a month..i only wash once a month when im in braids and i was thinking about using the 17 minute miracle...

To answer all of your questions, I think that it is a must have for all types of hair but most especially for relaxed hair. I'm not sure about it stopping severe breakage because I use Joico products exclusively (except for alternating co-washes with Garnier Fructis and using Mega-Tek) and I don't experience much breakage.

I just went out and bought each product in this kit indivdually in the liter sizes because they are that amazing...at least to me. HTH.

I use the Intense Hydrator, Cuticle Sealer, Reconstructor, Split-End mender, Leave-In Reconstructor and Serum (can't remeber the name of it). All of these are from the K-Pak line.

I like it a lot. I've used it during my relaxer session, and my hair was so silky. Actually, "silky" does not fit the feeling...

I think regular use can prevent, not necessarily stop, breakage--although breakage is resolved. The entire kit is meant to give the hair everything it needs to be healthy, IMO. So moisture, protein, all at the proper pH levels.

I like to use it around relaxer time. I use the k-pak reconstructor by itself in between relaxers.

How do you use the Joico K-Pak Cuticle Sealer... I purchased it and the directions say to use it before the reconstructor and deep conditioner. I don't have the rest of the Joico line but was thinking of using it before the protein and deep that I normally do.

Any advice you can provide would be helpful. =)

Do you mind telling me exactly how you use this kit when you relax? My dh & I are putting a relaxer in my hair for my birthday and I would love to incorporate this kit. I haven't been relaxed in a couple of years and am a little scared.

Do you mind telling me exactly how you use this kit when you relax? My dh & I are putting a relaxer in my hair for my birthday and I would love to incorporate this kit. I haven't been relaxed in a couple of years and am a little scared.

Immediately after rinsing out the relaxer:

-Apply the Intense Hydrator for about 10 minutes.
-Follow with a neutralizing shampoo twice then I use the Chelating
Shampoo (comes with the kit).
-Apply the cuticle sealer as directed
-Apply the K-pak Reconstructor for about 15 minutes
-Finish with the Intense Hydrator as directed.

I immediately use the Intense Hydrator after I rinse the relaxer thoroughly because I choose to condition before the neuatralizing process, so that step is optional depending on what you prefer.

I find that all of these products leave my hair feeling healthy, silky and shiny, especially after a relaxer. HTH and I hope you have a great relaxing experience! Happy Birthday!

Hey BabyShaq! I think that the Cuticle Sealer should be fine to use before your protein and deep conditioner as long as you don't use heat. If you do use heat, then you can finish with the Cuticle Sealer. It should leave your hair shiny and silky anyway. However, I have never used this product without the kit or the Joico K-pak line so I'm not sure of the results. Please let me know how this goes...good luck!

Thanks so, so much for getting back to me. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find the kit anywhere in my area. I am looking online now for a place to order it from.
