I just put the mizani protein condtioner in my hair , and now my hair is break. Did I do something wrong or is it the product?:ohwell:

Maybe you needed moisture instead of protein. You have to figure out what your hair likes. I found my hair does not like a lot of protein. Many do protein treatments once a week but I do it every other week. My hair likes more moisture. It shines more when it's moisturized too.

Thanks! A freiend of mine said I needed a protein tremt. But I alway use my motions, but now I trying to grow my relax out and I'm get a little breaking!

Okay maybe this is it but I can't give advice on transitioning because I don't strech past 8 weeks:lachen:. I get too much breakage. Maybe some of these other ladies will chime in.

Hi TT

Try using Sesbastian 2+1 conditioner. It is 2 parts moisturizer and 1 part protein. Use it once a week for 20 minutes under a dryer or 1 hr. with just a cap on. Do this for a month and then check out your hair.

Hope this helps.

and...you can grow out your relaxer. It's been 4 years since I had a relaxer. The important thing to do is keeping your hair moisturized, especially where the two textures meet. With constant conditioning, you hair should be ok. If you think the 2+1 is too much, use it every other week and then deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner on the opposite week.

If you're transitioning...
you need MOISTURE MOISTURE & MORE MOISTURE !!!
Are you co-washing??? YOU SHOULD BE !!!
Protein is cool... but you really have to be careful with it.
