Afro Detangler.....was Your Experience Good With Them?

I just ordered some and e-mailed questions and it returned back...

Hi all,
It might be too soon, and I am sure that they are busy over there. I made my order on 7/7/8, and e-mailed questions that I had for her later on that day. I had questions on billing and shipping. Well the e-mail that I sent to her yahoo account had returned to me later on that day saying something like the delivery was attempted 5 times and failed. I am getting a little nervous.......Of thoes of you who have ordered from them, how was your experience? Did you have questions that you sent and were they answered in a timely manner? I mean, shoot if it's gonna take like 2 weeks before they even start on your order, you would think that they would have the question answering part on lock, ya know?

I ordered, didn't have any problems. I think it took like a month to get it (it's been a while though, and I could be totally wrong), but - I didn't have to contact them at any point, or anything.

Yes that's the same stuff I was looking at but decided not to buy!!! Well hopefully they will get their act together. Keep us updated on whether or not they reply and how long it takes to get your product.

Meh, it's okay. I might need to pull it out and try it again - I haven't really figured out how to incorporate it into my reggie, fully. I know that at SOME point, I'll figure out how best to use it.



Otherwise, I'm gonna start selling 8oz bottles of it. Shoot.

I bought it a while ago about 4 months ago and did not have any trouble with my order. At first I thought I did not like the product. I tried it again and now I find it very moisturizing as a leave in on wet or dry hair. It is not greasy or heavy and I have fine texlaxed 4a hair. HTH

I ordered it and didn't have a problem getting it. I liked it a lot, left my hair very soft and easy to manage. I used it as a leave in and on my dry hair.

It actually worked extremely well for my hair. I started using it middle of last year and mixed it with castor oil and it worked wonders for detangling my coily hair. I also used some of the hair care tips on their site for braiding hair, etc and they worked out well for me also. When I started on LHCF in January, I kinds fell off the wagon and wanted to try some of the products that were suggested on here, ie Ovation and MT, MSM. So, I have been using those products and haven't re-ordered the Afro-Detangler in a while. However, it was money well spent.

Well, it took over a month to get my product and I had to contact her in order to get it at that. The detangler is okay. I wouldn't repurchase - my California Baby Calming conditioner is better as a leave-in. The afro detangler is not moisturizing enough for my hair (natural, 4a) and it doesn't give that elusive 'slip' that other leave-ins give my hair.

I have tried this version she has out now and the older version. My hair DOES NOT LIKE the old version, but LOVES THE NEW VERSION. I asked for a sample from someone who had it so that way I could check it out before investing 57.00, ya know. My hair loved it, softness without greasyness for days! All I needed a couple times per week was to spritz it with water and it "reactivates" itself. I am a natural and don't mind shrinkage,so I let them steam daily in the shower as well. I love it! I just hope that all goes well with it. I know that it will take about 2 weeks (including the weekend) for them to even get to my order, and I have no idea how it's being shipped (that was one of my e-mailed questions) so I don't know when I will receive it.

The product works very well for me. It leave my hair soft, moisturized, and gives me slip. You just have to make sure you're using it correctly. If you use the product incorrectly, it probably won't work.

Pretty good she said it would take 4-6 weeks and that WAS about the time frame it lasted me over a year and at a point was the ONLY thing that could detangle my hair, the first few times you use it you have to follow the instructions exactly to get the results.

I have an alternative for those that dont want to spend 50 dollars yet. Try Royal Roots Softner/detangler.
