:look:

I've been using up the half empty bottles and throwing out the things that didn't agree with my hair at all.I must admit I miss getting packages every other day.My shelves and cabinets look so empty.:nono:

ive slowed down..everything isstarting to give the same results and i think simple is better :yep:

I'm gonna slow down. I've been throwing stuff out for the last couple months. I really like silk elements as my moisture products. I ordered mega tek so if that works well that will be my protein. After that I'm done trying new stuff. Hopefully these products won't turn on me.

Since I found this Eqyss Mega-tek and Garnier Fructis Strength and Repair conditioner for co-washes, I don't need or use anything else.

I'm slowing down. I've been using up several bottles in the past few weeks and giving away stuff, too. My cabinet still has enough to last me for a while, though I may buy one or two of my favorites that have run out. No other new stuff, though, until I've gotten rid of most of that other stuff. After all the raves, most of it is very similar.

I know I have slowed down.. I stop coming to this site..lol
And besides have you seen GAS PRICES and have you been to the store lately.. alot of people are about to lose some weight too cause they won't be able to afford all that junk food!

I'm slowing down! I'm sticking to ayurveda and wet bunning, so I'll only need powders, oils, shampoo bars, a good conditioner, a creamy moisturizer and glycerine!
I'm so happy I can start saving some money!

I've slowed down a lot. I found that the new stuff I was buying wasn't any better than what I already have. Also, as my hair got healthier, I didn't need to look for a miracle in a bottle anymore.

I still keep lists of things I might want to try but I don't feel like I have to go right out and get it.

My hair impulsive hair purchasing ways have stopped completely. I am not buying anything right now. If I run out of a staple, then I use up something else I have in the product dungeon. I also have sold a ton of stuff lately. I do worry about having an inconsistent product line-up because I am so desperate to use up everything. I hope I don't damage my hair by switching thins up so much.

I pray not!!

I have slowed down and using up my stash since I co wash 5 days a week. Today I went to target HE was on sale for 2.99 I could not help but grab a bottle of LTR and a bottle of Break's over. After that no more till August.

This is it for me for a long time. I only get paid once a month so I usually get what I need at the beginning of every month. I have to be really careful not to go over board tho.

This month I have ordered my pwders and the last 2 oils I have been waiting to get. So I won't be needing anything else till I run out staple stuff. Although........ I still need/want the Hemp seed butter or oil.

The products that I don't use, I can doctor up and use as a leave in spritz, an the conditioners as a cowash. What I hate I take to work and use them on my clients (they only have suave), or the other staff grab it up. So nothing goes to waste.

I have been a PJ for a long time, before I even found this board. So I really need to get control of it. I may have to resort to an intervention.:lachen:
But hey, I am doing better. They say the first step is admitting you have a problem.

With gas and food prices, I can't afford to keep splurging on hair products.

Not counting what I bought yesterday and today, I've slowed down quite a bit. I have learned to cut out the impulse purchases. I was in Target tonight and before I knew it, I had 3 conditioners in my hand :ohwell: I put two back.

Yeah I think its been a combo of finding my holy grail and gas/food prices.I'm down to

Kenra-DC/instant conditioner
Joico chelating-shampoo
smooth operator-leave in
dumb blonde-protein

:lachen:.... I know what you mean. I was in Fred's today, and next thing I know I had some cholesterol, vo5 and CON( I had to get this, I hadn't been able to find it anywhere else). The bad part is I did'n put mine back. I had excuses why I need all 3 things.:nono:

:lachen:In Andre 3000's voice "I'm just being honest" :lachen:I forgot I bought some more HE HH ($2.94 here) while @ Target on my lunch hour earlier LMAO. I bought the Sunsilk in the pre-packaged BOGO free $2.99 w/a $1 off coupon attached  I'm seriously done though, I got my fix and I'll be getting something(s) in the mail so I'll have a couple packages to look forward to.

WEN pretty much cured my PJism. I'll be selling some stuff pretty soon. I can even walk into a store and not head to the hair aisle.

i am. i counted and i have more than 50 products. about 95% of them are things i love so i dont need anything else unless i run out of vo5 before the summer is out. other than that i have shampoo and conditoners to last me till the end of this year.

yeah...i have less money for one, and also there arent that many things i need. that buy nothing challenge slowed me down; even though i am still making lists of things i wanna try i havent run out to buy them.

I keep buying more and more conditioners when I already have a staple conditioner Suave Tropical Coconut. Its like I refuse to believe that this conditioner is good enough b/c it only cost a dollar. Everytime I try something different I still end up using Suave afterwards. I guess if it aint broke dont fix it.

I have so MANY freakin products. I have enough shampoo to last me a lifetime and enough conditioner also..I have so many butters and oils too..I don't think I'm gonna buy anyhing else for a while EXCEPT my staples.
