I just wanna know in all seriousness...black people...why don't we take care of our hair. I seen alot of  and I just wanted to :hammer: but it would be like :deadhorse:. Why do we think our hair can't grow therefore we weave it up and not only that crunch crisp and fry it up to acheive looks. I was so disgusted watching people dig into their crunchy hairstyles and scratch. Why don't you just wash it? I am not on some holier than thou mess but I wish I could help females to help themselves when it comes to haircare. I mean we can have healthy hair. Since joining here I can't imagine getting my hair stiff hard and not washing for weeks. That's just nasty to me since learning a few things...anyhoo just wanted to vent.

I was disappointed mario only sang two songs and didn't take his shirt off..lol. But watching him Lil Mo and Fantasia was great. I was in awe. I have never been that close to a celebrity and I wasn't even that close but I was near the front on the side. I was like WOW they have been on the read carpet and they have seen Lil Wayne and this celebrity and that celebrity. WOW. I was like I wonder how much them outfits cost. LOL just rambling thoughts. I ran into some ignorant people that kept pushing my sister. Kinda wish I wouldve brought my knife...lol...I'm kinda..KINDA kidding. Anyways have a nice day.

It was cute shiny and black. I couldn't tell if it was a wig or a track but it was in a bob kinda thing with the left side longer than the rest. IT was cute and she looked great and put on a nice show although I didn't like her song choices.

Im kinda surprised Lil Mo was out there.... she asang at my church not long ago & talked as if she was gonna try the gospel thing... She actually can SING

no, but you just reminded me how much i love the inner harbor. <3 i love the theater there. it's like, never crowded, and i've been on a friday and saturday night.

if i don't leave the state, i think it'd be one of the places i might move.

and i am so OT.

she just performed like rhianna song and old swv song some of her old songs...(lil mo) nothing trashy or flashy and she wasn't dressed half naked. She did say she was newly divorced looking for a man.

I think the rain messed the schedule up that's why Mario came on so late and was only able to do 2 songs. It was supposed to be over at 10 and Fantasia still needed to do a set. But why did they let Lil Mo sing 999 songs that weren't hers and Mario only got to do 2 in his home town? :ohwell: I left after he went off...

OP - I think the artists dictate the crowd. Last year when Musiq was there on the main stage there were naturals galore.

B'more is lil Mo' hometown too, no?

ya right about the Artist thing.... when India Aire & Michelle Ndeglecello (sp) were there for Artscape ya saw more naturals than when Faith Evans & others were there

That's what they said when they introduced her but for some reason I always thought she was from PG. I don't recall her ever claiming Baltimore but I've heard her mention Hyattsville.

You'll see more naturals at Artscape anyway. Artscape is always a different type of crowd than AFRAM. Probably because it's more mixed but I'm not sure...

OP, there's no use in trying unless u have the money to launch a major War on Bad Hair Care campaign. Just be thankful that u have the knowledge. :-)

Besides, there are scrubby people of all races.

Yea I thought they said she was in her hometown...plus doesn't she say she's from bmore to I heard her on the radio...i think...a couple months ago.
