Last Night at the Casino...

... I did NOT get weave-checked. Instead I got the loud, ig-nant (yeah I spelled it like that), talk-behind-your-back type of check. I had Thermasmoothed* my hair yesterday and DH and I went to the casino near our home to have dinner. I had my hair down and it had plenty of movement and shine. HOWEVER, my hair is fine and not thick-thick-thick like some of the ladies here. Also, I'm growing out my layers, so the longest portion (which is scraping BSL) is thinner than the upper layer. Why did these two -----s (pick your favorite term) follow us talking loud about I needed to get more tracks added in the back? I glanced over my shoulder to see if they were talking about me (swang my hair when I turned) and they were about 2 feet behind us looking directly at me. I turned back, kept walking, and finger-parted my hair down the middle so the scalp, length and lack of tracks was clearly visible, then just shook my head so it fell back into place. Then I looked back at them and just... smiled.

Yeah, that's the best way to get 'em...show 'em that part. I love wearing my hair in two ponies with my hair parted from front to back...don't get weave checked on those days !

Years ago when I first joined, a member was at the BSS and was getting flack. Her head was scarfed to the max. She slowly took everything off until they could see mbl hair, they were speechless
