Hi ladies,

I can't wait to give it a try...just hoping it would also be out here in paris. I tried the products about a month ago and I do love All Soft and Extreme also but it ain't easy to have Redken products here.

Well while waiting, on my way to add some little Butter Cream :lick: in my hair

good observation.:yep:Maybe when the line drops and the packaging is in purple we can find out what inspired it(if anything...)and also what inspired a line geared towards "us"...Maybe we have a "cousin" that works for redken?

It's not geared toward us really folks. It may be beneficial for our type of hair, but it is not being marketed as an aa haircare line.

Debbie downer here: why are all products targeted toward blacks Purple, who got together and decided that purple would be the black color? Anyway back to the regularly schedule program...I'm excited to see reviews.

Remember "the Color Purple" with Oprah? :lachen:That's marketing GENIOUS. Ya. Whateva.

Ive been looking everywhere for this..burlington..highpoint. you seen it yet?

This is very exciting, now what to buy first is the question. I want to try the Extreme, Smooth, and this line. My poor wallet.

John Freida's Relax line was also purple... As well as the Cover Girl Queen line. Purple is the color of royalty. :look: It's supposed to symbolize regalness (is that a word?). So that might be why the color was used. Because it's for black "queens"?

LOL...my fault!! My stylist went to a Redken event and had a sample. Since she knows I blog about this stuff she gave me one. She said the whole line is going to change our lives, and I think she may be right!![/quote]

Wow! I hope she is right
This is promising. But I find using natural ingredients is doing this for me already ... perhaps the line is leaning more towards natural ingredients...

I searched salons on the redken site and in my area it is available at the salon in Wal-mart, JCPenneys, and a beauty salon downtown at my school.

I did that search too but thats just saying that redken products in general are available in that area.

I finally had my pjism under control!:wallbash:

You know what I'm sayin :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

changes our lives!? This sounds serious! damn! I may just buy the whole Real Control line whenever I find it :look:

I've pretty much found all my staples, but this line is SO calling my name :nono:! *Sigh* I'll fight the urge for another month or so...

See I'm about to buy that whole line, I just found some in po-dunk Athens. I OD'ed a bit on a protein treatment so I think this will help with the hardness.

I plan on buying today the shampoo, conditioner, and that masque (which is btw 25 dollars! this better work...)

Oh jeez! Wow, the store you bought it from is really making a profit! I bought the mask for $12.99! And Trade Secret has it for $14.50....or was it $14.99...anyway, $14.something.

Sadly the Trade secret did not have that line and I was in need of some help. I did buy it from a high end -esq like salon so yeah I guess I got ripped off. Well I did like how my hair turned out, but I think it had more to do with me using the Smooth Down shampoo and conditioner.

Lession Learned.

I know it's hard to wait when you're itching to try something new that's hard to find, especially since you needed moisture after your protein overdose! I would have paid $25 if I couldn't find it for less.

I tried the Real Control line and it is the BOMB!!!! I kid you not. This will be a staple from now on. My hair LOVES it!

All of the products are ultra-moisturizing. All contain shea butter in them.

I used the entire line and rollerset and my hair has been AMAZING since. Very soft and silky to the touch.

When you used the entire line did you use the mask or conditioner with the other products?
