hahaha and just like some of you said it STILL had mineral oil as its second ingredient

it claimed to be lighter and improved.....i still wonder what those improvements are...

and the bottles look the same except they have blue circles that say new and improved....and lighter version....

i laughed when i saw because i thought of the thread on it a couple days ago

The site DaughterofZion posted had a link to the ingredients. The first ingredient is water:

Deionized Water - Aqua , Mineral Oil - Paraffinum Liquidum , Isopropyl Myristate , Lanolin , Propylene Glycol , Aloe Vera Oil - Aloe Barbadensis , Jojoba Oil - Simmondsia Chinensis , PEG-30 , Dipolyhydroxystearate , Beeswax - Cera Alba , Panthenol - Provitamin B5 , Tocopherol - Vitamin E , Magnesium Sulfate , PEG-40 Sorbitan Peroxide , Ethylhexyl Dimethyl PABA , Sodium Borate , Methylparaben , Imidazolidinyl Urea , Propylparaben , Fragrance - Parfum , Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde , Butylphenyl Methylpropional , Citronellol , Benzyl Benzoate , Linalool , Geraniol , Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone , Amyl Cinnamal , Benzyl Salicylate , Cinnamyl Alcohol , Hexyl Cinnamal

if they were listening to our complaints, they'd know what the first complaint is... NO ***'IN MINERAL OIL!!!!:pyro:

but y'all, for real, i got some samples of the keracare that lots of people rave about, its second ingredient was mineral oil, too. it was like water, mineral oil, petrolatum, beeswax, and then some other oils. maybe they were looking to keracare's success.

i know i love my keracare hairdress and it has mineral oil in it and i loooooove it so i dont plan on stop using something just because it has mineral oil in it. i use to use the pink oil all the time along with hot combing my hair weekly and only washing my hair monthly and my hair was long. i wont use it now but mineral isnt a problem for me.

It's funny that the one and only review that it had on the Walgreens website had 1 star, and the person wrote 'Horrible' as the heading for the review.

That stuff is the worst. Honestly I never paid attention to the ingredients to find out why it was the worst. I just know from using it in years past that.....it's the worst.

They should have atleast changed the name and packaging. Make me think that it is something else. It just doesn't matter how many adjectives you put in front of it pink oil lotion is gross

:lachen: I KNOW RIGHT! IT'S LIKE THAT'S ALL THEY THINK WE KNOW! I WISH A LUSTER'S REP WENT OUT, SURFED THESE DANM FORUMS TO SEEK WHAT WE LIKE IN OUR HAIR. I REMEMBER USING THIS TIHS LONG TIME AGO, MY MOM WOULD ALWAYS HAVE A BOTTLE AND AS I GOT GROWN, I REVOLTED. THERE'S NOTHING MOISTURIZING IN THAT DANM PINK OIL.

FROM THE SITE:
Q. How can I restore moisture to dry hair?

A. Apply a small amount on Pink Oil Moisturizer Crème Hairdress with GroComplex 3000 to the scalp and hair to restore moisture and add shine to the hair.:nono:

i think its funny that keracare can get away with it because it is on the higher end, but pink oil which is cheap and easily accessible.....is frowned upon....

interesting lol
