Hey..
just curious to see what people are doing to their tresses..

Well I used the ORS Aloe and Olive Oil shampoo..
It really cleaned the heck out of my scalp and it tingled.
Didnt need much to create nice lather..

I also tried to use CON ( creme of N) poo.. The new one in the orange bottle.. why does it take so much for it too lather?

Anyhoo..
After using those two.. I use the Nexxus Ultimate Moisturizing con..
Left it in, never rinsed it out..

Air dryed..
This morning ..
I just did a quick rub of ORS Shea butter +

and here I am .

What about you?

Im a 4B, so it was a little tough. lol

Yesterday I had to abuse my hair with the blow dryer, flat iron and curling iron in an attempt to hurry up and get ready for my "surprise". Today I will make it up to my hair by doing a CO wash with Humectress and follow it up with Redken All Soft and leave it on for about 3 hours- let it air dry and then do my first bantu knot attempt. :look:

Wow ..
Well.. messed with my hair, not as bad as you.. I like suprises but .. getting ready for them at the last minute is the worse.
That happened to me last night.
I was a little peeved. but hey things happen.

anyhoo..

they arent that hard to do.. just need to have patience. lol

Let's see... On Friday night, I cowashed then sealed with extra virgin coconut oil. I put my hair into 10 individual twists to airdry overnight. On Saturday, I had a family party to attend so I wore a twistout...it came out sooo good! Anyway, I wore the twistout on Sunday too, for church. This is the first time my twistout look good for 2 days in a row!

I used leave in conditioner and rolled my hair on small rollers...and got some really curly curls!!!

Do you use the ORS Olive Oil replenishing conditioner? That stuff is like butter on the hair. Best conditioner I've ever used in my life :yep:

Friday: undid my twists, washed with eqyss premier shampoo, then creme conditioning shampoo. Deep conditioned with the ORS conditioner I just mentioned with heat then left in in overnight.

Saturday washed it out, applie eqyss premier creme rinse as a leave in. detangled. Used Megatek on the scalp all over. Twisted my hair using Profective Breakfree on the hair and the Profective on the scalp. Misted the scalp with Eqyss micro-tek and the hair with the eqyss premier spray.

Ta da finished.

I do that whole routine once a week.

This is the conditioner. I tried the Pak (£1.99) and bought 2, any BSS should have them. I'm in London and got it in a local BSS. A lot of ladies use this on here it's readily available in the US (I'm just assuming from the majority you're from the US)

If you like it then the big bottle in the BSS will look like this...It's the same product the bottle is about $12 I've read on here in the UK £6.99 and it lasts a long time too, you get your money's worth. I have or had dry hair this switched it up big time for me :)

If you decide to try it PM me and let me know how you got on. I hope it works for you like it did a dry head like me :lachen:

Wash and set...
Deep conditioned with Giovanni Smooth as Silk.
Just bought Alter Ego Cren, it really does tingle all over the scalp. I loved that feeling. Used Giovanni leave in too.

Hi ladies..... I braided my hair Friday for the first time :yep:. It came out wonderful, if it should say so myself. On Saturday didnt do anything to it.... On Sunday i shampooed it and my scalp felt great. Now the real task is keeping them in :ohwell: for at least 1 month.

Absolutely...anyone can go around with underprocessed hair! Seriously, I love my texlaxed hair. I still have quite a bit of texture left, so my hair is thick and strong, yet manageable. I highly recommend texlaxing...for me, it's the best!

yesterday DC w/o heat with Matrix Biolage fortifying cond., took nap for a few hours
rinsed
put Freeman moisturizing sea kelp conditioner
airdried
sealed with castor oil on ends
coconut all over for shine
mango butter on the ends and rolled on flexirods

took out rollers this am
appplied chi sik infusion
flatironed the roots
was gonna out it up in a high ponytail but it looks really nice so I wore it down

My hair is of course super soft and smells super!!

Texlaxed with Hawaiian Silky No Base Mild Relaxer

Colored black with Colora Premixed Henna

ETA: DC'd with CON Ultra Moisturizing condish

i co washed as usual and decided to try sumthing new and mixed a lil condish in my water spritz bottle so after i dried my hair i sprayed it on my hair and went.....i loved the results

I have about 4 months of newgrowth, so I washed, deep conditioned, and flat-ironed this weekend. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't damaging my ends trying to comb through two different textures.

Shampoo: ORS Creamy Aloe shampoo, followed by the Cream of Nature Sunflower/Coconut Detangling shampoo (Orange bottle)

Deep Conditioned: Mix of Cream of Nature CON, Porosity Control, Aphogee 2 Minute Reconstructor

Leave-in: Cream of Nature Leave-in sealed with Coconut Oil.

Let hair airdry and then I flat-ironed.

Came out very shiny and straight, but I think I was too heavy-handed with the leave-in and oil on the ends of my hair. They were a little limp.

Pre pood with Jehan Pre Poo Oil, pood with Komaza's Moisturizing Aloe poo, dc'd for an hour w/heat with shescentit's Fortifying Mask sealed with Tresscence Oil, did a twistout.

My ends were TERRIBLE! Dry, crunchy and tangly. I ended up putting some cholosterol on my ends (dry hair) that Saturday night and left it in over night. That morning I clarified (with Suave), washed and conditioned with Tresemme (the formula to strengthen hair). I also deep conditioned with Aphogee (the two minute one). I air dried and put my hair in a ponytail for today. My hair and ends look and feel SO GOOD now. :yep:

Well, I went two weeks w/out washing but I rinse after exercising to eliminate sweat.. Well, who told me to do that. This weekend I was preparing to wash and my hair was dreaded in some sections. I had to use my Scurl, wet it up good, to comb my hair out. Damn, I won't do that again. Now, after exercising, I don't know how to do my hair because I'm currently 14 weeks and I need 2 more weeks before I relax so I don't know how to care for it after exercising. Anyways, I detangled, washed and did an Emergencee treatment overnight.. Washed, flatironed and slick back into a pony.. Now, what do I do after exercising???? All that sweat, don't know..Can't give up exercising and neglect my hair.. Any suggestions????

where do u find these oversea items lol
they seem so foriegn to me lol

and i am a product junkie.

My style this weekend was a pin up with my hairzings and a clip that I don't have a name for right now. Then last night I deep conditioned and rinsed out this morning and I'm right back to my hairzing style to avoid combing/brushing and/or playing in my hair. lol..

Girl, they're not overseas products :lachen:

I got the Jehan oil and Fortifying Mask (I adore both of these products) from www.shescentit.com

The Moisturizing Aloe Poo (my new staple shampoo  ) is from www.komazacare.com

And the Tresscence oil (smells sooooo good) I got from www.Tresscence.com

Shescentit is made by LHCF member SweetCashew and Tresscence is also made by a board member, queenspence

Cowashed w/ Suave Coconut conditioner, then moisturized with giovanni direct and carol's daughter honey stuff then put my hair in twists with flexi rod's on the end.
