Hi ladies, here is a pic of my unstretched TWA. What can I do with it. I need help before I do something I will regret.
TIA

how long is it unstretched? When I BC I did flat twists in the front and the poof in the back, scarf and poof, then as it grew I did twist. Mostly I just wore it out and wild haha

ITA. Just keep it moisturized and let it be. It's fine, enjoy this low maintenance period. You could play with some scalves or headbands though if you wanted to.

nothing:blush:: its perfect the way it is:yep:

I was thinking the same thing. Enjoy your hair, deep conditioning, moisterising (pre-poos, conditioner washes if you like) will keep your hair nice and soft and it will grow in no time.

Try some fingercoils or dress up your twa with a cute headband. You could also do mini twists and unravel them for a nice twistout.

omg, you and I share the same hair texture and twa.....how cool is that!?!? Currently, I am just conditioner washing & deep conditioning my hair. I have yet to find a good conditioner for either .

I agree, enjoy this length, when my hair was this length it was the most stress-free time I had with my hair.

Thank you all. I just get bored sometimes and I want to do something fun with my hair, but I think I am limited.

You are not along. Ive been natural for almost 2 months and im tired of the some lil fro. Thinking about getting some braids

do some flat twists on wet hair
and braid it at the ends or use rubber bands to hold your hair in place(i wouldnt) and put a band at the end of the braids and let the back hand out:yep:
ill come with pics later

ITA as well. You can try coils as suggested but that's about all you can do at that length. Cowash daily. Find a moisturizing leave in. And you're good to go!

If you text, you have 2 inches of texturized hair, how is that going to help with styling options. You will still have a twa just a texturized one.

I would wait until you have a good 3-4 inches before braiding. Think about it: the braider will have to pinch your hair tightly to start off the braid. Also, I found when my hair was shorter the braids would slip out sooner. So you done lost your hairline and a hundred bucks. PATIENCE Grasshopper.
