i'm just wondering who else doesn't use poo, no matter what the reason may be?

i don't and i am coming to terms to say with pride okay mabe not pride but with comfort that i don't. poo irritates my scalp i will not buy another unessaccery bottle. i co daily or every other day so it's not like i'm running around town with my hair on stank status....:lachen:i spend too much money on stuff i soon realize i just don't like it either b/c of smell, quality, irritation, and for whatever else of a reason.

:grin:Me..Me ...I poo (clarify) once a month. Cowash 2 to 3x a week. My hair is thick and everytime I poo it is a mess to detangle. So far, so good so I'll keep doing that.

I haven't used shampoo in over two years. :lachen: DH has to remind me to get some for him - it's funny, he hasn't even asked me how I'm cleaning my hair - I guess as long as it smells good and fresh, he doesn't even care...

I co-wash daily and poo(clarify) once a month. My hair gets VERY dry and pooing only seems to worsen the situation.:nono:I'm learning it's all about doing what works for you...not others, which is leading me to be careful about jumping on bandwagons. Happy growing!

I use unrefined black soap fron Ghana to wash my hair. I mix the soap with water to melt it and add jojoba oil, castoral oil, fractionated coconut oil, and grapeseed oil. I add vitamine E oil and honey to perserve the products.

I'm a low to no poo girl (The 12 year old in me is ->). I only poo when I deem it necessary. (:lachen:)

ETA: I really think shampoo is overrated. I think alot of people have it stuck in their minds that in order for hair/scalp to be clean, you must use shampoo. That's not really the case.. :)

I shampoo on relaxer days (of course) and that's pretty much about it... every once in a while I'll use diluted castille soap to shampoo

I went no poo for two months and felt like my hair was doing better. But I just had to have the shampoo, felt I needed it, and now my hair is somewhat drier. I plan on going back to no pooing and sticking to it a lot longer to see the end results.

I used to low poo and when I look back at my pics my hair looked healthier then. I only shampooed to clarify. I would mix a little tea tree oil with my condish and that's what I used to wash. My hair was super soft too.

I don't poo and shampoo is not necessary to achieve clean hair and scalp. I've been co-washing and then using baking soda once a week as my "poo" and my scalp has never been better. I think no poo is the reason my hair is growing faster and my scalp is not dry, itchy, and flaky like it was before. Ingredients in traditional poos are harsh on your hair and skin too.

I don't use poo anymore. I use castille soap with a mix of oils once a week or every 2 weeks. I like that much better. I cw everyday. I don't know what to do with all the bottles of poo I have now though.

i just poo'd can deep conditioned my hair so i could flat iron but when i wash next time there will be only co washes until the winter time. and even then shampoo will only be used maybe once a month.

I don't poo either...last time I did I used a non sulfate gentle poo (Trader Joe's Noruish) only because I was out with friends who smoked and I felt like I really needed to get my hair sweaky clean to get the smell out :ohwell:

I agree, even the mild and gentle poos make me itchy, so when i don't poo my scalp is happy. I think if folks were to eliminate poo they might find comfort on their scalp. an like u and others their are other ways to keep ur scalp clean w/o a bottle of poo.

not since discovering alma/shikakai powders this week... :drunk: i'm done with poo!
