Ok, so let's start with the ORS Olive oil poo. It's supposed to be a chelating (supposed to bind to all the minerals in the hard water and remove them from your hair) if I remember correctly. Well I tried it out. I followed the instructions except for pooing 2x. I am usually a no poo girl so when I do poo once per month I like to make sure I get out any and all gunk.
I wash in sections and applied and scrubbed my scalp in sections. I immediately noticed that the longer the poo was in my hair, the harder and more "drawn up" my hair became. After the wash, it was also quite matted. Mind you my hair was detangled and sectioned before the poo, and I wash in such a way to keep the hair detangled, but this poo was something else. I didn't even use a lot. I can certainly say that I will not be buying this again. I might have to try another brand or something. My hair was really dried out really bad afterward as well. Oh well.

Now for the Palmers. I love Palmers products. I mean they smell like chocolate, so I was eagerly anticipating this new hair line. I stumbled upon it yesterday as I was looking for my beloved QP DPR-11 (which they didnt' have) I looked at the ingrediants (more protein then I wanted) but I was like hey I still wanna try it out. First of all the was not pleasant AT ALL. It smelled kinda "chemically" I guess is the best way for me to describe it. Not fresh and yummy like the oils and they sell. Anyway as I applied to my hair starting from the root down to the ends, my hair seemed to get harder. I don't know exactly what it was about this conditioner but my hair didnt' like it at all. I had to mix it with the last of my trusty QP DPR-11 to make it for. Oh well.
So over all, I would have to say 2 thumbs down on both.....

-My hair feels really weird, and kinda hard. I see that I will have to daily conditioner wash with moisturizing condish to get my hair feeling normal and soft again.....
