For the ladies that are looking for an affordable weavologist in Houston, check out my fotki to see my latest install. I really like it because it looks like my real hair, and the plus is that it only cost $50. Yup, I usually pay $220 so that's a HUGE deal to me.

Anyway, let me know if you'd like her contact info.

More pics in my fotki.

OMG that is soooo cute. And the price you paind for it was a good deal. What hait did you use, and is it a full sew-in? Very nicely done!:yep:

Thanks ladies!! I especially love that it looks so natural. It is a full head sew-in with a very little hair left out at the top. I'm transitioning (almost 2 yrs no relaxer), so that's why I asked her to only leave a small piece out.

I usually pay about $350 for my hair from extensions plus, and $200 to get it installed. :wallbash: Since I couldn't afford that, I searched high and low and found this lady that installs weaves for $50. I went to the beauty supply store and bought two packs of the Sensational premium now hair for $24.99 per pack. I bought two packs. I can't believe the huge savings I got for going the cheap route..

ETA: I thought that cheap hair from the beauty supply store would be dry, tangled HAM. That is so not true. This has is not shedding and does not tangle. Yall need to go out and get some of this cheap hair!

Your hair looks phenom.:yep:

I saw a sign here in ATL "Sew In's $50.00" and I just looked like what kind of sew in is that? I may have to see what she/he is talking about!

lol Yeah, before getting it done, I would never have believed that I could get a good sew-in for $50. lol You better check that out girl. Gas is too high nowadays. We have to cut down on some stuff. :lachen:

Wow it looks great! Did she cut it for you? Oh and if you could PM me her info I would greatly appreciate it.

How come you didn't just reinstall the Extensions plus hair? It is my understanding that the hair lasts a long time and can be reused for up to a year or more.

Anyhow, your hair looks nice!

oh yeah, it's really very pretty and looks so natural. I will have to look into trying that brand of hair.

Thank you!! If you check out my fotki, you'll see that I reinstalled my extensions plus hair four times. lol So, you're absolutely correct. You can reinstall it multiple times. I couldn't because the hair was beginning to shed. (It starts to shed if you keep reinstalling it without sealing the wefts. I never sealed the wefts) Plus, I had cut the hair in a short bob the fourth month I had it installed, and I wanted longer hair. I would have love to buy more, but I can't afford it right now.

Your intall looks really nice. I would wait to see if the hair will shed or tangle.

Oh no say it aint so..do you think it will start shedding/tangling after I've had it in for a while? I'm planning to take it out by the end of next month, so hopefully it will hold up until then.

Hey I was just looking in at her fotki and there's a lady in there named Sonia. I know her personally and her hair does look good. She did give me a card to her stylist and I was so burnt out on bad salon visits I just didn't go.

OP, your hair looks fantastic.

Yep, go find you a girl in high school or college who knows how to hook it up. :look: My lil' sister will do a sew in for $40. And after doing sewins herself for about 6 years now, she knows what she's doing. :yep:

Thank you for letting me know! I want to get some EP hair but I want it to last me a while; at least a year or more given the reviews I've read. I'm surprised to hear about the shedding because from what I've read, EP never sheds. Wow! You really gave me something to think about! Nonetheless, four installs is still pretty good!
