It seems pretty scientifically sound :scratchch:
I know some craft supply places sell lactic acid b/c it can be used for scrubs and facial peels, but I don't know what percentage to use for hair, OR how safe it is considering that it is an acid. I figure if it's safe for skin, it's probably safe for hair but I need to do more research.
Please post your results! The coconut milk/lime mix was too messy for me too.![]()
This interesting. I'm waiting too.
When I did the coconut milk/lime juice mix I added an avocado and was able to apply it with an applicator brush. Also added some honey and EVOO.
Yeah, the powder would probably be a safer bet. Easier to mix to..I didn't want to add too many extra things to the coconut milk/lime deal b/c I was afraid that if I diluted it too much it wouldn't work.
I think the baking soda thing is interesting also.
Easy to mix if you use an organic, full fat brand with no hormones/additives. No waiting overnight for the recipe to sour/build up acid. In the right amounts, drips very little if at all.

Mix it with honey or agave and eat it with a spoon!

Happy Hair Growing! ^___^
This was a great review. So, I am relaxed, I wonder also, how this may affect my relaxed hair. Also, I found some powdered coconut milk today in an oriental market. I wonder if that would be a bonus? Any relaxed heads done this before? Please let me know.
