... due to not being able to find it anymore or a change in formula, what do you personally look for in a new relaxer?

i loved loved loved Organics by Africa's Best... but now i can't really find it as easily as i could before... more prevalent is their newer formula that's really pushing the Olive Oil which is DISASTROUS for my hair... ok, i'm being dramatic, but i hate the olive oil formula so i feel the need to switch...

i don't really want to relaxer hop, and i tried Silk Elements tonight simply because of the silk in it, but i'm wondering if i should look for a relaxer that's similar to what i've been using, or take this as an opportunity to branch out...

thoughts?

I usually just get what looks and sounds the best :ohwell:

Like if the packaging is pretty and there's a model with pretty hair on the box, and it says ''Infused with jojoba, rosemary and aloe'' I'm like ''Oooooooh! I want THAT!'' :lick:

I'm tired of switching though, so my next relaxer's gonna be Hawaiian Silky. If I love it, I'll stick with it (hopefully!)

i was thinking about that but i didn't remember hearing anything good or bad about it... definitely share the results!!!!... lol

that used to be one of my criteria for picking relaxers too - the model on the box... anything with a drawn model was out... that's how i landed on Parnevu... it got my hair bone straight with little effort, which is the only reason that i won't use it now, since i don't want bone straight...
