does anyone else have a problem with paying 30 bucks to store ur photos when there are numbers of places online to store them for free? apparently i met the limit today and irefuse to waste my money to store pictures online. is it just me???

i just logged in and it gave me a page saying i would have to pay to upload anymore photos but when i tried to upload the photos it let me so idk

Go to "My Settings" in Fotki and request 10MB of space. You can make a request every 30 days.

I've only used 32MB of my 330MB total to date.

ETA: I deleted the originals as Pokahontas suggested below, and now it's down to 20MB out of 330 MB. Thanks Pokahontas!

It'll also tell you when you're eligible to request an add'l 10 MB as well. For instance, mine told me yesterday I had approximately 4 days until I could request more space.

Thanks for posting this. I've been slowly deleting old photos and replacing them with new pics when updating. Much appreciated.

That's exactly why I've never used Fotki because there are too many ways to do that for way less than $30. I'm a web designer, I was thinking of making my own site, won't cost a penny.

I don't pay for the service right now but I do use the other features, like the journals and videos. Ofcourse I have some of the stuff there as private because its for my eyes only. If I had to pay to keep those things I would because it is really nice to keep everything in one place rather than have stuff all over the internet or different computers.
