Hey ladies, it's been a while, feels good to be back. I have a question though, for those of you who use Biosil, what have your results been? Have you experienced faster growth, stronger growth, or no results at all? I'm considering purchasing this. Thanks in advance.

I've been using Biosil for a week, so that's not much help for you. It came highly recommeded at my health food store for hair growth. The funny thing is that my finger nail cuticles which are always raggid (pick and bite them- I know baaad habit) are healing right up with out me using a bunch of oils and stuff. I'm pretty sure it's the BioSil.

I had a big issue with my cuticles, so I am hopeful just for that reason that this product works!

Shop around and try to get the best price, I think my health food store jacked me so I'm going to do some research next time. I got the liquid drops and the instructions recommeds to take it in veggie or tomato juice. I've been doing it in grapefruit juice so I might change that.

I'm taking so much stuff now I won't know what's working tho lol!!:lachen:

Thanks Atlanta! I heard it was also useful for skin as well. Maybe if it doesn't work for my hair it can at least help me with that.

I've been using Biosil for about 3-4 months. My newgrowth appears thicker and my skin has a natural glow to it. I take other vitamins and my hair and skin never flourished like this except for when I was drinking carrot juice on a regular basis. I say its a keeper!

wow sounds like great results......i just placed my order online. looking forward to better skin, hair and nails......:)

I JUST ordered some of this today (the liquid) from vitacost earlier today! (had to order something since my 5% discount ends today). I just felt like trying something different..

WhipE1, I'm glad to hear that you're having great results! I'm looking forward to seeing some nice results also....

I have been using the Jarrow BioSil for several months now. My hair appears to be shinier and stronger, and I think it, along with all my other vits (see my siggy), have made for my hair's growth. It's hard to say what it has done by itself since I take so much other stuff.

I got mine from The Vitamin Shoppe for $21.99 (sale price); the first time I got it, I went to Whole Foods and paid $26.99.

It's nice because it truly does last at least 3 months, if not longer if you're not using it every single day.

HTH & HHG!

Jarrow stopped distributing the Biosil drops because they could not negotiate a favorable contract with the company that really makes the drops, I belive it's Natrol -- so now Natrol is marketing the product.

I will always keep this in my silcon/silca rotation, I have had very favorable results with it but more-so for my joints than for my hair!! Go figure. I feel better than a 20 year old and I'm working out like a champ so I should be limping instead of running!

how neat! i bought this today. i mixed it with juice..all 6 um 7 drops and it didnt change the taste.

they don't tell you on the package but you should do the drops 3 times per day to start with for the first 2 weeks then you can do them at night, minerals work best when you take them before bed I find...

I am glad you posted this... Thanks so much - I had a negative reaction to it.... so I will try it this way.
