Anyone use em?
How'd they work?

Where can I find them?

Thanks in advance:grin:

I have a Turbie Twist that I use everyday. I got it for around $5 at Sally's. You just put it over your head and twist it. Put the end in the loop at the back and you're done.

does it dry your hair fast?
evenly? or just the outer pieces?

I have 4 - 1 for mmyself, one for each of my kids and one for my puppy. they do work. I bought mine at Sally's and then I found them for only $2 at Big lots. The one from Sally's is a better quality though because it leaves less lint in the hair.

these really do work though. My oldest daughter has butt length hair and it used to take almost 24 hours fof her hair to completely air dry but the towel wicks away most of the water and it dries her musch faster now.

Do you have any brand names so I can look them up?

I have two but I noticed little pieces of hair stuck in them everytime I use them. So I switched to t-shirts. It works just fine for me because I don't like my hair too dry.

A microfiber towel?

I have a turbie twist that I got from Avon and I love it. I don't think it's microfiber though.

Is that what they're called?
Well I gotta go hunt one down cuz my hair refuses to dry.
Yeah. I can remember reading that some were using the kind you get to dry cars (it's the same thing just marketed for cars). I think they're pretty cheap if you get it that way. They supposedly dry the hair super fast.

I saw those Turbie Twists last week and I started to buy them. I wish I had now. I didn't think they worked as well as advertised.:ohwell: I'll pick some up the next time I see them.

I got 2 microfiber towels (one cheapie from ebay and a turbie twist) and I don't notice that they dry my hair much faster and the cheapie catches on my hair and tries to pull it out (and sometimes succeeds). I think I'm going to switch to t-shirts, too.

But my hair is quite thick. I think with anything I put on top of my hair, the best it can hope for is semi-drying the top layer. The 80% underneath doesn't even get touched. So I usually use a regular towel and lift my hair bit by bit and grab a section with the towel and just squeeze it for a few seconds so it can absorb some of the water.

I use the Aquis microfiber towel that I got from BBB a couple of years ago. No lint, doesn't catch on hair (especially if you don't dry it with other lint laden fabrics).

I have about 5 of these and they are the only towels I use to dry my hair now.

Many of the other microfibers would get hairs stuck in them and even when I washed them I would have to sit there and pull the hairs out of the fibers.

Aquis for me are the best and I have tried quite a few including the turbie twists.

dang it, now i want an aquis.

to answer you though i have a turbie twist and it's ok, although i still may switch to t-shirts. the microfiber hair wraps are at dollar tree now.
