wow I think me and like two other members are the only 2-3yr members who joined in their teens. I was 15 when i found this site and bc'd. Now i'm about to turn 19 and have cut my hair more times than your eyes have rolled at a triflin man lol
But this year i'm starting a whole new college, and i'm definitely going to showcase some APL or longer hair ! I'm almost there.

i found this board when i was almost 17. wow.

you'd think my hair would be butt length now:lol:
well, i nearly reached WSL after a year of being on the board, but thanks to not taking proper care of my ends, and my desire for a nice haircut, I went from a couple inches from WSL to APL in about 15 minutes.

Haven't been able to reach WSL since. TOO MUCH CUTTING!:nono:

someday... someday... maybe this year??
 
I'm 19 but I'll be turning 20 in 4 days. Yaaayy me! I found LHCF when I was about 16 and joined but I didn't start paying until I was about 18 (first year of college when I had some dividends). LOL.
 
Hello everyone I'm 19 and would be turning 20 this year(aww so many 19 y.o. on this site)and i found this site when i was 12. I became addicted to this site and was a constant lurker since 2003 when i was 131/2 - 14y.o. I just joined the forum in March and im glad i did. (I finally had time to pay for my membership.) This is a great thread!
 
i found LHCF when i was 16 and joined a few months ago.
i'm looking forward to being 20 cause i know my hair will be WL....or else.
forget 20 my hair should be pushing for MBL by the time i'm 19 how knows it might grow a 1 inch before my b-day as a present wouldn't that be lovely, it ain't happen though i'm going to be 18 on june 1st 1 inch in 11 days without some kind of super kick a** growth aid nothing happening.

Yeah I was thinking that the other day .. by prom .. I'll be BSL .. not fully though .. [god forbid no setbacks]

Graduation .. almost wsl.

[I'm short with layers cut .. so full APL is the same as partially bsl]
 
I've been a lurker since i was 15, i became a memeber 3 years later and i i just turned 19 a month ago. im glad i found LHCF, i'll be a healthy mid back by the time im 24 if not sooner.

i sure did wear my real hair for both! i told the hair stylists that i didnt want any weave in my hair for prom. i had a really cute half updo and two pieces of hair coming down around my face, so long the shop thought it was weave (people outside LHCF really do have a different definition of long hair :perplexed)
my grad pic looks so awesome too
 
WOW Um I found the forum in April and lurked around reasing. My hairdresser told me about a lady in her shop that used MN and grew her hair 4" in 3 months. So I googled it. I just paid my fee today!
 
I found this site when I was 18 last year. I'm now 19, Im surprised to see so many girls my age and younger on here, can you imagine how our generations hair is going to look in about ten years? We'll all be waist length, and all the misconceptions about black women not being able to grow hair will be a thing of the past. Here's hoping!
 
I found LCHF at 19 and I just turned 20 in April. I always have flashbacks of my hair in high school and how crazy it was. Sometimes it would be healthy and I didn't know what I did. Most times it looked a mess and I also didn't know why. I'm so glad I found this site, but I wish I knew about it at 14!
 
im 21 but still thats young. i found the thread when i was 20 and have been making great progress.
 
I never really thought about how i would wear my hair for My Highschool prom??? Im only a freshmen my mom want let me go....:ohwell:
At my school Freshmen can get invited to Prom!
 
I found this site when I just turned 17 in July....and I'm still 17 right now:grin:. I'm so glad I found this sit and I should reach my first goal on my birthday (BSL) July 14th.

My school was like that too. If a junior or senior asked you, you could go. I didn't know other schools did that as well.

Growning good at 16 Shoulder Length
then
Had a setback at 16
big big chop at 17
and im natural and lovin it and will be growing good at 18.
 
It's good to see teens learning how to take care of their hair. I have a fourteen year old and I pass a lot of info to her. But I wish I know more about hair in my teens, hell even my twenties. I also wish more black females young and old knew about their hair.
