Is it okay to Clarify after a relaxer?

Didn't know if this would offset the relaxer...anyone done this?

You should be fine if you feel that your hair needs it. But of course do use your neutalizing poo after your chemical service and if you want to follow up with a clarifying poo it should not cause any issues. You really want to followup with a good moisturizing conditioner.

I know a stylist who recommends clarifying after the relaxer. One lather of clarifying poo followed by the neutralizing poo. This helps to get rid of the oily residue that some relaxers leave behind. If you don't remove the residue your neutralizer won't penetrate the strands as well and you could get breakage and or buildup.

I clarify/chelate when I relaxed 2 weeks ago after I neutralized and my hair is fine. Im gonna start doing this everytime I relax.

I agree. I actually did this today after my touch up. It can also help remove residue that can cause your scalp to itch later on.

This may be a little of but Im going to clarify for the first time and I dont know if im suppose to use clarifying poo or conditioner. I have started conditioner washes so would i just carry on as usual using a clarifying conditioner instead of my regular con and then follow up with reg conditioner? I hope Im making sense
