Last night, I was flipping through a new issue of one of those Black hair care magazines.... and what do I see?

A full-page ad for the "new and improved" Pink Lotion. New smell. New formula. New something else, but I can't remember.

I guess our hair care prayers have finally been answered. :lachen: :lachen::lachen:

Pink hair lotion was the only moisturizer I used in high school. Now ORS moisturizing lotion is the answer for me.

though i dont currently use it, I loved Pink lotion... I buy it for my boys still.... they have an oil-free version that my daughter uses on her NG between her micros

They better not discontinue my pink oil!!

I am the only person i know in the UK that uses it & from the responses on this forum, in the USA too.

SO i guess nobody will be rushing out to buy it b4 they discontinue it :woot:

Hahahaha - pink lotion lover!!! You know it's like a dirty word around here, folks be clowning on it so much. :lachen:

I heard on the radio that Keisha Cole was going to be their new spokesperson.

Wow, if she uses it then I'm gonna try it now!!!

:lachen:

you could go open a bottle of engine oil and get the same effect as that stuff...I'm not wasting my time, betcha mineral oil is the first product!

My hair love pink lotion when I was relaxed. I don't know how my hair will react now that I'm natural.

hehehe I know

Aint no shame in it.

My name is Lexxx & i AM A PINK LOTION LOVER........ so there!
:hide:

I'd be willing to try Pink Oil's new oil. :sekret: :look: The only thing that kills it for me is that smell (I like light, fruity smells) and that it was greasy.

Pink oil wasn't that bad for me when I was using it. It left me with a greasy shine, and I liked it because that was the look I was TRYING to acheive.

I think the "horrible-ness" of this stuff is overrated.

It's supposed to have a new and improved smell. We'll sign you up as our first test subject then... :look:

Report back with an ingredient list and results.

When I first started doing my hair when I was 12 this was the only product I used. If I smell some Pink Oil I will probably throw up. I dont think its all that bad of a product per-se, but the scent sickens me for some reason!!! I can conjure up memories of Pink Oil lotion and a burnt curling iron smell. :barf:

yea i saw it in a magazine too....I was shocked, but i'm still not touching that stuff.

...im really curious as to what their ingredients are now

I'd be more then willing to give it a try(after I thoroughly read the ingredients:look:)

Pink Lotion was the first black hair care product I could get my hands on in Germany and I loved the pink bottle and that the lotion itself was pink:yep:

I heard they added more mineral oil and threw in beeswax and petrolatum too. lol jk

And the medicine-like fragrance didn't change, it just got taken out.
