I'm not admitting to having a problem so say but at my job we have packets of honey in the cafeteria. I use honey in my green tea every morning(can't drink coffee or you guys would see me on CNN blowing people away!). ANYWAY...I take two extra packets everyday and put them in my desk. At the end of the week I take them home and make my honey/EVOO DC's with it. I can't help it. I guess this was more of a confession but I don't know? Do I have a problem? Are my friends right? Do any of you do some slightly peculiar things like that? I CAN afford honey. I even have this huge convenient store sized pickle jar with real bee hive honey but still, I can't resist getting that honey for my hair. I probably should have kept this to myself.:look:

:funny:

You my kinda girl.

I don't have the patience to squeeze all them little packets of honey out, but I feel where you are coming from!!!! :lachen:

They're actually little packets that you pull the tab off the top like a sardine can. The honey just pours right out. I look like I do have a problem...huh?

Oooooh. The little packets just like the jam ones!? :look: Shoot, I wish they did have those in our cafe - all they have is the mustard style packages. Honey ain't cheap. I have to admit though, I get the cheap stuff for my hair, and save the good stuff for my insides.

So that's where the honey packs are going??/:grin: I can certainly identify with drinking green tea because of the effects of coffee!

naturalgurl:lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:a few extra honeys won't hurt...atleast u don't have to dip into your personal honey pot.

JustKiya, u said it. naturalgurl, ur the homie:grin:! if we were to hang we would be dangerous...i'm the one to voice it and yo *** would just say f it, it ain't nothing but free honey....lol naw for real though...my granny says you're only crazy if you answer yourself.
naturalgurl u got me n tears laugh'n...and dang my hubb isn't up for me to share why i'm laughing...it's one in the morning i'm going to sleep b4 i find another new thread. ya stay true 2 ya selves. hhg!

It's like a sickness, I don't know why I hoard stuff for my hair. It's like I have this fear that I will run out of hair stuff and every little bit helps. Besides, I use my bee hive honey for cold and flu season, but if I don't get enough honey from work, THEN I use that.

This whole thread has me giggling like I'm crazy. :lachen:

Although...not to be Debbie Downer, but the last time I saw those honey packets, they weren't 100% honey. The ingredients included sugar and corn syrup, in addition to honey. So if they're by a company that uses 100% honey, you should be ok.:yep:

*gasp* *clutches pearls*

WHhhhaaaaaa!??!?! :nono: Thas a damn shame! Bethca honey wasn't even the first ingredient!!

No mam, I work in a cancer institute who's main thing is health. Their sugar is natural cane sugar and they're in brown packets. The honey is not Sue Bee, it's organic. Trust me, I'm a BIG TIME label reader when it comes to me eating or putting it on my hair or skin, but thanks for the heads up!

CONFESSION:

Everytime I go to a fast food restaurant... I ask for the extra pkgs of lemon juice... I always order Iced tea and they normally assume its for that...

the lady at the drive thru at the McDonald's down from my house ( I go there most every night for a sweet tea and a redbox movie on my way to work) calls me the Lemon tea lady..... if she only knew those packets get used in my hennas and Ayurvedic rinses

Excellent! Then carry on with your obsession! :lachen:

LOL ... this is so cute. I don't think you have a problem. If it's free, why not take a couple extra packets. I would be doing the SAME thing if we had honey packets here. :yep: We are just very caring of our hair ... that's all.
