Any ladies who use this product have problems with shedding. I will continue to use it if it doesn't prevent me from retaining length? Will it prevent me from retaining length if i continue to shed?

I had shedding from Gro-Aut, but I also got a lot of growth too. But the shedding scared me enough that I stopped using it.

If I try it again, it will probably be in the summer when I usually experience less seasonal shedding.

I think there were others that got shedding too. You should do a search because I know there are links on the board to threads about Gro-Aut and shedding.

Hi There. I am shedding too. I started using it on April 1 and have started to shed more. There are a few others on here that have had problems too. Are you using just the gro aut? Or are you using the other 2 oils from her site as well?

I am just using the gro aut oil. I have decided to stop using it i cant continue to lose hair.

There is a post about this. The reasoning is that you have natural shedding and because your hair is growing so fast the shedding is catching up with the growth. Think about it as your hair cycles fast-forwarding.

Length, but not thickness:rolleyes:.....who knows. The gro aut is working though, little baby hairs popping up everywhere on my hair line. I have cut down usage to every other day and noticing less shedding.

How often do you wash Sexy eyes?

Shedding even excessive shedding is normal, baldspots, thinning and breakage are not. As long as you're not experiencing those things you should be fine.

I wash my hair every two weeks.

Did you always wash two weeks? Cause it might not be excessive shedding just normal. It probably seems like alot b/c you stretch your washes

Try adding mahabringaraj oil to your scalp a few times a week. You can mix it with gro aut. It helps hair to keep from shedding and excess breakage. It' s amazing. It really works. I was reading a little about it in one of Candy C's posts and I decided to purchase it. I noticed 80 percent (about) less shedding when I wash. When I started using gro aut, I noticed a little more shedding, so I started adding that oil and it really helped.

I emailed the owner about the shedding and she suggested exactly this. This oil has properties that can reduce hair fall. It's a an oils who's base is sesame oil. She said to try adding either the mahabringaraj oil or sesame oil into the gro aut and you should see less hair fall.

this is confusing to me. if gro aut increases growth rate then wouldn't your hair grow longer before it reaches its time to shed? it seems like an increase in growth would allow you to gain more length than during a regular growing cycle. If your hair naturally sheds but then sheds more with gro aut, it sounds like the life cycle of the follicle is becoming shorter. i dont see how this could be a good thing.

I use all four oils that come with the kit and I have experienced shedding so bad that my nape has almost completely come out in the past week. I do have a ton of new growth but the shedding is making my hair thinner than it already is to the point that styling is a problem.

Is it possible that your hair is shedding due to the 'sesame seed oil'. Some people have allergic reactions to this oil.

Could it be the sulfur???

I want to try this so BAD:lick:, but when I jumped on the MTG (horsie stuff)my hair fell out in patches. I think it was the sulfur

Just my 2 cent

After the MTG fiasco, I made my own sulfur mix. After the third day of applying I got the itchy scalp real bad. I stopped using it, I was afraid and couldn't afford the hair loss

Mad me mad too, I wasted some expensive Emu oil
